Nicole Richie glittered like gold as she arrived at the 30th annual Carousel Of Hope Ball at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills last night.
Every other year in October, the Carousel of Hope - with the generous assistance of our corporate sponsors and friends in the entertainment industry - raises millions of dollars in support of treatment and research programs at the Barbara Davis Center for Childhood Diabetes.
Joining Nicole at the star-studded bash were fellow A-listers Melanie Brown, Katharine McPhee, Josh Groban, Denzel Washington, wife Pauletta Washington and their son Malcolm Washington.
The red carpet standout of the night was undoubtedly Lara Flynn Boyle. The former actress shocked attendees and photogs alike when she showed up barefoot and wearing what appeared to be a négligée.

Nicole looks awesome!! I LOVE that dress and I don’t think her body has ever looked this good. I really don’t like her hair color at the moment though, its kind of orange. And Melanie Brown looks really good as well, her body is sooo fit its unbelievable…the dress is really pretty. Lara Flynn Boyle on the other hand is a mess, she looks drunk or something.

Pauletta looks gorgeous. I like it when she actually looks ‘put together’. As the wife of a MAJOR sex symbol, I’d think she would consistently try to look this good. Hell, if Denzel were MY husband, I’d ALWAYS look my best —– gotta make sure those other chick know they’re no competition.

It is horrific to witness the republicans blind fervor for nonsense when it comes to electing the leader of this country: buffalos in panic jumping right in to the abyss. Republicans have no awareness on the impact of their politics in more than 1 mile around them or one year ahead of time. Their sense of pride based religion as the deepest understanding on ethics by memory and social duty by becoming warriors to a Religious power where the use of violence equals devine law.
studies have shown a correlation between level of education and political preference:
those that have barely High-school education favor the conservative ideologies of republicans. Those that have a minimum of 4 years of college education favor liberal ideologies of democrats.
It is also a fact that people with higher education move to urban center such as NYC and those with lower educations stay in rural remote areas.
If the country is gonna be rule by the result of a faulty high-school education it would be worth to take a look to that formation and its values (lack of)
