As a result of feud with her family, down-and-out songstress Britney Spears is reportedly drinking again and has taken to binge eating and shopping, raising fears that she is beginning to unravel again.
Let’s face it — any news about Britney these days is usually bad news. This one from Star magazine, reported by MSNBC, is particularly bad.
Brit’s feud with her mother Lynne has strained her relationship with sister Jamie Lynn. “Jamie Lynn and Britney have always been close, but Jamie Lynn thinks Britney is being cruel, especially after everything their mom did for her,” a “friend” told Star. “Jamie Lynn wants it to stop.”
Despite a 30-day stint in rehab, Britney is not staying away from alcohol.
“On several occasions, I have seen her pouring alcohol into energy drink cans,” says a source. “Britney requests that her alcohol be served in carafes rather than in bottles. Once, a waitress made the mistake of bringing her a bottle. Brit grabbed her arm and told her she couldn’t be seen with it.”
Making matters worse? Rocking a purple bra and not much else, Britney allegedly got her flirt on with Jaime Pressley’s babydaddy DJ Eric Cubiche during a recent night out at L.A. hotspot Joseph’s.
As we all know, Britney has a quite a history of stealing young father’s from their respective babymamas.

I really don’t think Britney has an alcohol problem and that she was put into rehab because she was headed towards a nervous breakdown. She’s so in the thick of all her problems that she can’t see that her mother is only trying to do what’s right. To be honest, I’d be kind of resentful if I had to spend 30 days in rehab for a nonexistent problem but she had to do something to try and salvage her image. Not that it’s working….

has Nina changed to Nima now? Britney has the same alcohol problem I did when I was 20,21,22,23,. then about 24 I got my shit together and cooled out. Britney won’t cool out cuz she’s still “rebelling” and thinking she needs to “assert herself” and “stop being controlled”. she’s still stuck in the 16 year old mindset and will be until she starts accepting responsibility for herself and her life.
oh and by alcohol problem i mean i partied at night, but in the day i handled my responsibilities (B is lucky cuz she has no responsibilities, she has people to do that for her). i think most early 20s folks have an “alcohol problem” but that doesn’t mean rehab is the answer. maturity is the answer.
