This is tragic.
Jennifer Hudson’s sister pleaded for the safe return of 7-year-old son Julian Hudson, who has been missing since Jennifer’s mother and brother were found dead in their Englewood home.
With tears running down her face, the heartbroken mom says: “All I ask, I don’t care who you are, just let my baby go. Please. I just want my son.”
Julia added that the deaths of her mother and brother has left her close-knit family “in a state of shock.”
The man labeled a suspect by police in the slaying of Jennifer and Julia’s mother and brother — the estranged husband of Julia — was in custody Saturday. No charges had been filed against William Balfour. His mother claims her son had nothing to do with the double homicide.

It’s been almost 48 hrs since he went missing. The child is probably dead. This is what violent, cowardly, deadbeat men do when they can’t beat on the mother any more. They go after the family. RIP Julian.
Oh god this is just so tragic. Their family must be a mess right now, I don’t know what I would do if I lost two family members and my child went missing all in the one morning, and possible because of someone that you were in love with. I just pray that that little boy gets home safe and that the family stays strong through this terrible tragedy. I think it’s terrible to say that he is probably dead and for him to RIP. We really don’t know anything and to just jump to that conclusion so soon is heartless.
It’s brutally realistic. When a child goes missing, the first 24 hrs are especially crucial. FBI statistics say if you don’t get the child back within a 24-48 hr time-frame, most of the time you’re not going get the kid back alive. Julian is most likely deceased by now. Balfour probably killed the child and disposed of the body along with the missing car.
I wish women would make smarter choices about the men they bring into their families lives. Balfour had a criminal record for attempted murder. Julia brought this monster into her mother’s house and left him alone with her child. Now her mother, brother and son are dead.
OMG - what is going on in this world? It’s so scary having children. My son is nearly 7 and I honestly would want to die if something happened to him. I truly hope they find him alive and unharmed soon.

The longer they can’t find him, unfortunately the more realistic HK’s scenario becomes.
Why not have Jennifer Hudson make a tape pleading for her nephew to come home..!! That would make a
big difference… Since her sister knew about his violent temper and abuse why did she stay with him..

I think the sister is also at fault she new this was a criminal man and he shouldn’t have been living with her mother at one time anyway.But my question is why were all these adult children of this deceased woman living in her house anyway? Especially the sister Julia because she is married if your husband can’t provide for you then ya’ll don’t need to be married.And I am not being a smart ass when I say this but by the looks of Julia I think she was jealous of Jennifer and she was desperate for love apparently.Check out Julia’s my space page it seemed to me that she was jealous of her sister.It is sad and I am hoping Julian has a safe return.It is ashame that this little boy went through this because of his desperate for a man mother.And I don’t think Jennifer is distancing herself at all I just think she is hurting right now she lost her mother and brother and now is worried sick about her nephew! Geez Laurie Smith, you are quite the bitch. What difference would it make if Jennifer came out and said please return my nephew. If the child is still alive, that is hardly going to make a difference. And of course the police have questioned him. Just because they haven’t pressed charges doesn’t mean they aren’t grilling him about the events. I wonder how you would react if it was your family that was just murdered. Would you be all about public appearances?

I’m sorry to say but Julia is to blame for this tragedy. Her desperation for a man resulted in her marrying a convict with a long rap sheet who was on parole for Attempted Murder. What kind of person would bring a known killer into her mother’s home and expose her innocent child to his criminality? Shame on these pathetic women! Now her mother, brother and son are dead! Murdered because of her deadbeat criminal husband. Julia wrote on her Myspace that her weakness was “good dick”. It’s sad and disgusting that Julian loved this man’s penis more than her own family. I read that this Balfour character already impregnated another woman. It breaks my heart that Jennifer’, her mother and brother, and poor sweet Julian are paying the price for Julia’s bad choices!

So just because the mother of the child missing isn’t a well known media face, she should step aside and let her sister do her talking? Maybe every one with a missing child should ask a celebrity to come forward and make a plea for their return.
There are no words for the people pointing their fingers at the sister. Yeah she was married to the guy, but you know, most women are complete and utter idiots with their choices in love–me included. Place the blame on the person who pulled the trigger and his anger, and murderous nature, not the victims left behind.
