Decked out in head-to-toe black, a solo Gwyneth Paltrow was all smiles as she arrived at the premiere of Two Lovers at the BFI 52nd Annual London Film Festival in London today.

The flick, which co-stars Joaquin Phoenix, tells the tale of a heartbroken man whose parents set him up with the daughter of a family friend.

On the star-studded red carpet, Gwyneth expressed her undying support for her pop star friend Madonna through her divorce.

“She’s a very good friend,” says the Oscar winner. “I’m supporting her in all the ways that I can. I’m just there for her. I speak to her a lot.”

Gwynnie and Madge have a well publicised friendship and are both yoga fans as well as splitting their time between the US and UK.
