The headline-making comedian was booed on stage during her UK stand-up debut in London last night.
Fans, who had paid about $100 a ticket, slow hand clapped and shouted they wanted their money back after the star’s short 40-minute set.After the audience refused to leave, Silverman was forced to give a Q&A session as an encore after admitting she had no other material prepared.
Unimpressed fans shouted “you’re over-hyped Sarah” and “I’ve seen longer clips on YouTube”, before the star told the audience to “go home” and the left the stage.
Wait — it gets worse. Following the disasterous show, the Daily Telegraph branded Sarah as “skipping away in near-disgrace” after the “excruciatingly embarrassing” question and answer session.

I was at that gig and while the material was funny, and Brits do not hate Sarah Silverman, the show was just really short and all at the Apollo had been kept waiting hours with the venue basically refusing to let anyone out after admitance.
I felt sorry for Silverman at the encore, basically she was heckled and it was embaressing to sit there. Once she asked everyone to leave after the “encore” you’d never seen a venue empty so fast.
Plus - We smoke in the UK. What you had was 3000 testy Brits who desperately needed a fag.
She is absolutely not funny and is only somewhat famous because of her ethnicity let’s face it!!
Is her new show going to be shown over there… Since it is so 70’s style…

I was there and she wasn’t very funny at all. I’ve seen her on a couple panel shows here too. I don’t hate her but she is very irritating.

She has no talent, other than poking fun at people of other ethnicities/race. She is not a real comedian just a sorry woman that got a lucky break. I watched part of her show and was really offended by what i saw and heard. She is a poor excuse of a comedian. Maybe some one needs to come up with a comedy show that sterotypes Jewish talentless people. (Example) Sarah Silverman. Ok so who am i to judge right? A person that pays to watch television. A person that has the same right to express my opinion just like she does.
