LIVE FROM NEW YORK, IT’S SARAH PALIN!

Showing off her killer gams in a miniskirt and sexy leather hooker boots, Governor Sarah Palin offered photogs a gracious wave hello as she arrived in New York today carrying her baby boy Trig.

Following endless teasing for her folksy style and lack of experience, the Republican VP candidate got the last laugh tonight as she appeared on Saturday Night Live for the first time.

Stay tuned for a clip of Palin’s performance. We give her props for being able to poke fun at herself after everyone else already took the liberty, but perhaps it’s a little late in the game to be joining in on the laugh, n’est-ce pas?

UPDATE: Check out the show’s opening sketch featuring a mock press conference with Tina Fey reprising her role as the Alaska governor. And, yes, Palin makes a cameo.

call me skeptical but even this seem contrived to me. sexy boots yet she is holding her down syndrome baby. this woman is so complex and strange to me. i cannot imagine the potential leader of the free world wearing leather boots and having a baby.

If worst comes to worst and they are elected. I hope that she dies before him. I live in Canada and I think that she would be a mistake. Mrs ‘I can see Russia from my house’. Oh god that would be horrible. And thoes shoes are for strippers not 50 year old wannabes.

Ha, the sketch was very funny, loved the interaction with Alec Baldwin.

Why do liberals tend to be such narrow-minded, bigoted, hateful people? Take the first two comments for example: #1 “cannot imagine the potential leader of the free world wearing leather boots and having a baby.” How sexist and narrow-minded of you. And #2 just hopes that Sarah Palin dies before John McCain. There just isn’t an excuse for this kind of liberal hate. You would think you would be less concerned about the fact that Palin is (gasp) holding her baby and wearing boots and more concerned with Michelle Obama gorging herself on Iranian Caviar, lobster hors d’ oeuvres and Bollinger champagne while her husband is pretending to “feel the pain” of all those affected by the financial crisis. But it’s okay because she’s not a conservative, right?

anonymous, go somewhere else with your dumb shit. Everybody knows it’s the wingnuts who are the hate spewers. Megan McCain spent $75,000 in one MONTH on CLOTHES. Does she have a job? Cause Michelle Obama does. Was she supposed to hail a taxi and go to the nearest McDonald’’s to get a #2? It IS the Waldorf, you know. I’m sure you have no idea, but their room service menu tends to be a bit on the expensive side. Why am I even answering you? Obama spoke to a crowd of 100,000 people today in the red state of Missouri. Change is coming, better get on board.

Anyway, I don’t believe you. You have no idea if Michelle Obama ordered that food or if she ate it. Wait, on second thought, I think she did order it then she flushed it down the toilet as she taped herself railing against “Whitey” while on the phone with the African Press International talking about how Obama is not a real citizen. Then I heard she called Larry Sinclair to tell her to keep his hands off her man cause ain’t nothing gonna stand in the way of her getting into the white house to enact new black liberation theology laws that she established with Bill Ayers, Rev. Wright and Osama Bin Laden.

Cannot stand this woman and think if by some miracle McCain gets in, it will not take long for to realize he barely tolerates her and the second she ‘over-steps’ her bounds, he’ll put her down hard. However, having a child with Down Syndrome is extremely challenging and that has to be very hard.

#1………………I left a post about you on Adam Sandlers so I won’t waste my time on you here. #4……….stop assuming that everyone who isn’t falling over themselves with giving props to McCain-Palin, or who chooses to be as nasty as they can is a liberal. Do you automatically call out anyone when they ugly nuts comments about Obama-Biden? Do you not have issues there or is it ok with you?

The sketch sucked (almost as much as Luella’s hot-air tirades). What’s up BITCH! LoL. You get 1 1/2 points for supporting Obama. But that’s it. You’re only slightly less annoying than Sarah Palin (and that’s only because we don’t have to look at your fug face in addition to reading your bullshit posts). Hugs, bitch.

She was mildly amusing but unfortunately people are still laughing AT her and not with her. She just doesn’t get it. And as for liberals being hateful, that is probably the funniest and stupidest comment of all times. It’s always the Repugnicans who demand that it’s their way or no way. It’s the Repugnicans who engage in desperate smear campaigns (that are failing by the way). It’s the Repugnicans who want to tell a woman how to live her life and what to do with her body. It’s the Repugnicans who spawn creatures like Ann Coulter, Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh. So it figures that such evil could never see that they are the real joke.

    October-19-2008 @ 10:44 am

She was totally pointless as always, a lame jokester and a even lamer politician.
But republicans find self fulfilled prophesies in these type of clowns. Every time a republican is asked why they like Plain, the can’t produce a complete sentence backing her up. But they have plenty of words when victimizing her, for immense lack of gravitas or even coherence. Joe the plumber has gotten more interviews than her? she can not held an interview, and that’s another of the decision Republicans make to hide their awful incompetence and their doubleness when it comes to criticizing “elitism” when it comes to ideas, but promoting elitism when it comes to money!
    -
this is the republican truth by the mouth of their leader:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mn4daYJzyls
    -

but the republicans in rural areas prefer to ignore that, because they are holding a front defending their own understanding of politics based on economic individualism , very old values of segregation/guns/supremacy and religious fear on others. -that is anything that means change regardless is for a greater civil good or not: stubborn, ignorant and proud of their role supporting the failed republican policies.

The McCain/Palin ticket is so desperate they would do anything, even be made fun of while Palin stands there taking it. And shame on SNL for even having her on, and the same to Alex Baldwin. Isn’t he a liberal? Sucking her off like that, what a pussy he really is.

#6…. Just like I thought, you have no problem with Michelle Obama gorging on Iranian caviar, lobster and champagne while her husband “feels the pain” of the poor simply because she’s a liberal. Your hypocrisy and intellectual dishonesty define you as nothing but a partisan hack incapable of critical thought. Of course you “don’t believe” the article about Michelle Obama–it doesn’t fit your narrow little point of view. So you simply choose to dismiss facts you don’t like in order to allow yourself the fantasy of your silly opinion. In other words, you’re delusional.

#11….Your argument is a false one. There’s a big difference between someone “who isn’t falling over themselves with giving props to McCain-Palin” and someone who wishes Palin dead as the author of the second comment does. I find it interesting that you take more offense to my assumption that the authors of the first two comments are liberals than the actual content of their sexist and hateful sentiments. Let me guess, you’re a liberal as well? You’re frustrated and angry right now because you know I’m right. And to answer you’re question regarding my consistency in criticizing “ugly” comments about Obama/Biden, show me one comment on this thread that wish either dead or anything that rises to that degree of hate and I will be among the first to rebuke it. You can’t.

  24. October-19-2008 @ 3:48 pm

14… You don’t think wishing someone dead is hateful? There’s nothing “funny” about that “bk”. What kind of person are you? Regarding your absurd assertion that only republicans engage in smear campaigns (by the way, correctly pointing out facts re: Obama’s relationships with Rev.Wright, Rezko, Ayers and Acorn do not qualify as “smears”), let me remind you that it was liberals that made the outrageous claims that Palen’s down syndrome child wasn’t hers, that she can’t be a mother and a political leader at the same time, that she committed adultery, etc. And lastly, please show me comments about Obama/Biden made by Limbaugh, Hannity or Coulter that rival the hate of the following comments made by liberals about Sarah Palin:

“Pontius Pilate”— Democratic Rep. Steve Cohen of Tennessee
“You got to be kind to the disabled,”—Charlie Rangel
    “Turncoat bitch…whore” –Sandra Bernhard
Palin Would Be Gang-Raped By Blacks in Manhattan” –Sandra Bernhard
“an insult to women”—“Democratic Rep. Diana DeGette of Colorado”
    sounds “pro-Nazi”—Whoopi Goldberg
“Sarah Palin is an Alaska hillbilly with porn-star looks…”–Heather Mallik CBC

Facts are a bitch, aren’t they “bk”?

    BooooHoooo BoooooHOOOOOOO!

    .
We are talking the next president here! Palin can’t take the heat she accepted as fate?
No attack on her is out of the game because she is a WEAK contestant: First rule of republicans: Survival of the fittest!
and Palin is getting grilled by forgetting that rule applies to republicans as well as democrats!
The only strategy left for the empty and 100% failed republican ideology is to steal democrat past proposals on economics, and of course moaning and winning about the type of politics they give to other.

Playing victims is not an strategy, is just desperate!

  26. October-19-2008 @ 4:19 pm

15….I’m tempted to not even respond to your idiotic rants, but you make such an easy target I can hardly resist. You say that Republicans “find self fulfilled prophesies in these type of clowns [palin].” Funny considering your candidate is referred to as “the one” by his supporters and he himself likes to speak in thinly-veiled religious terms such as “we are the ones we’ve been waiting for”. I don’t hear McCain supporters speaking this way. Sounds like you have your “clowns” mixed up. Of course, you’re being just as hypocritical when you say “Every time a republican is asked why they like Plain, the can’t produce a complete sentence backing her up.” It’s become almost cliche to do man on the street interviews asking people why they support Obama! Some are honest in their racial thinking, and simply say “because he’s black”, while the rest just repeat silly little bumber sticker slogans like “change” and “hope”. Of course, none of them can ever actually site an accomplishment by Obama. Perhaps the funniest is when Howard Stern did these interviews: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NyvqhdllXgU

And that video you linked to is from the Al Smith dinner in which it’s customary for candidates to make self-deprecating jokes. The same dinner last week in which Obama jokingly referred to himself as Superman sent to earth to save the world. Like Michael Moore, you’re being intellectually dishonest when you present that speech as something meant to be taken seriously. But it’s interesting that you post a video about republican “elitists” and then stereotype conservatives as “rural”, “stubborn”, guntoting and ignorant. Who’s the elitist here? Again, I think you have your “clowns” mixed up. Enough with your bigoted stereotyping “republicansout”, and your rants against “economic individualism”. Only Marxists and naive college students who’ve never actually earned a paycheck believe that an individual doesn’t have a right to the fruits of their labor.

  27. anonymous
    October-19-2008 @ 5:16 pm

Who’s the elitist here? Education is not elitism, perhaps for republicans it is.

  28. October-19-2008 @ 5:57 pm

Even though everyone likes to insult Sarah Palin, I still like her. She’s a successful woman by every measure. I just wish everyone hating on her would treat her by the same standards they treat people who’s politics they agree with.

I don’t think any mother with a baby, whether it has down syndrome or not, should be going into Office. VP role is not a 9-5 job it is a dedication of your complete life. She needs to stay in Alaska and take care of her kids.

  31. October-19-2008 @ 7:03 pm

29…That “career” you speak of so dismissively is the GOVERNORSHIP OF ALASKA! If as you assert, “that does not mean she is qualified for the White House” then neither was Bill Clinton when he campaigned as the Governor of Arkansas. And you have the nerve to accuse republicans of intellectual laziness? No one applying even a modicum intellectual rigor would have made a comment as ill conceived as yours. Let me offer you some unsolicited advice. Skip the political discussions for which you are sorely unprepared and intellectually unfit, and stick to comments regarding subject matter more in line with your caliber of thought–Posh’s latest choice if footwear, for example.

  32. October-19-2008 @ 7:08 pm

30….that makes you a first-rate sexist. Again, what’s with all the anti-Palin bigotry on this site?

  33. October-19-2008 @ 7:22 pm

27….Yours is a fallacious argument. No one here has said education equals elitism. You should do a better job reading and comprehending comments before you attempt a rebuttal. What IS elitist, as was stated in the previous comment, is dismissing anyone who doesn’t happen to share your failed political views as “rural, stubborn, guntoting and ignorant”. Stereotypes and baseless insults are poor substitutes for facts and informed opinion. Perhaps for a democrat they are.

Yes, you just got burned. badly.
