The funds raised through their participation will be divided among UNICEF, the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund and Sentebale, a charity established by Prince Harry to help Lesotho’s orphans and vulnerable children.
The royal duo joked that they had a wager on which royal tumbles from their bike the most during the grueling eight-day, 1000-mile off-road motorcyle adventure. But as for which prince was the better rider, a diplomatic William told reporters that “we’re both quite good actually,” while his brother quipped: “We’ll have to wait and see in a couple of days time.”
