A somber Gwyneth Paltrow was snapped out and about in London today following the news that BFF Madonna is divorcing her hubby of nearly 8 years, Guy Ritchie.
No word on where she was headed but the Ritchie family home might be a good guess.
Why, you ask? The actress reportedly spent months pleading with Madge to stay married to her director hubby.
Gwyneth is said to have advised her friend to think long and hard about the effects a divorce from the film director will have on Rocco, eight, adopted David Banda, two, and Lourdes, Madonna’s 12-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.
Gwyneth is also said to have developed a soft spot for toddler David and would be devastated to lose regular contact with him as well as with her best friend.
Adding to Gwyneth’s determination to keep her friends together is her belief that Guy is an excellent parent to the couple’s children.
Staying together for the kids? Really? That sounds more like ingredients to creating a tense and unhappy atmosphere in the home — not a happy marriage.

Brad Pitt!! The publicity went into overdrive with stories..

Gwyn looks so old and haggard in these photos. That hair color really washes her out. She needs to invest in a good moisturizer too.
