Britain’s The Sun claims that public statements for the press are currently being written up by the couple’s respective lawyers.
What has torn the couple apart? A combination of different priorities (particularly when it comes to their careers) and a different stance on adopting another child. She wants to; he doesn’t.
Says a source: “It’s very sad. They were a great couple and brilliant parents. They just couldn’t live together any more.”
A statement should be ready for tomorrow. Madge and Guy are hoping to have the divorce finalized by Christmas. ‘Tis the season!

Here we go again… I will believe it when Guy and Madonna get on tv and say its over.
If this is true then I will finally believe Guy has a pair. What he’s done basically is emasculate himself in this marriage and it’s so bizarre. Free yourself, Guy. Seriously, she will never love anything more than her career.
People keep pointing the finger at Madonna. The thing is Guy knew who he married. It’s not like she became a selfish bitch overnight. On the other hand she can’t be that selfish when she left New York to move to Londen because Guy can’t stand America. The reason they might be divorcing can’t only be Madonna.
And as far as the career thing. Men always find it hard to accept when their lady makes more money and has a career more succesfull then theirs. Not to mention the woman is always called selfish when she finds her career very importent. You’ll never hear somebody call a man a bad father because they go on a bussines trip for two weeks.
It was only a matter of time. I knew they wouldn’t last the day the married.
