Embattled songstress Kelly Clarkson offered fans a preview of her upcoming North American tour today by hitting the Live Earth stage at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.’

The pseudo punked-out rocker offered up a trifecta of new tunes (‘How I Feel,’ ‘Never Again’ and ‘Sober’), admired the stage decor (”tires, y’all!”) and bid farewell with fan fave ‘Since U Been Gone.’

Interestingly, Miss Clarkson opened her power set with ‘Walk Away.’

    Man, that girl can sing! Caught her entire 5-song set on Bravo and was majorly impressed. I’m definitely going to get her new cd tomorrow.

    What the hell happened to her voice? She couldn’t hit any high notes, and her new songs totally suck. I wish she performed Hazel Eyes or Breakaway instead.

    Oh, and BTW, her North American tour has been cancelled because of lousy sales, so don’t anyone rush to look for any tickets.

    She did an AMAZING job tonight! Who the hell cares about her weight? She’s real! That’s all that matters. People need to focus on other things and snap back into reality. Her new CD is absolutely awesome and has major hits on them! To all you haters, you can go suck it because obviously you don’t know what real music is. You’re probably listening to the Top 40 shit “Under my Umbrella Ella Ella” Who the hell cares about an umbrella?! Kelly makes music that’s real and that’s about real emotions. That’s what Kelly stands for. She is so real and down to earth. Her set tonight was awesome! Props to her!

    looks like Clarkson has her own hatrs who are always there to post some rude comments where possible.
    she sounded great - if you heard her scream during WA or HIF go have your ears checked.
    she pushed her voice too much at the end of sober, but instead of lowing she hit every note with a strained raspier sounding voice.
    she had a little mess during SUBG - started the second verse a bit too late, but for example me, I first thought the backing vocal thing was on purpose at first.
    Now let’s count how many artist tonight have hit ALL the notes in their songs… hmmm I can count less than a dozen so you negative people better shut up. Go there hit the Giants stage and perform, I’d like to hear YOU hitting those notes.
    As of her weight, take a look at the pics of her 2007 AI performances and you’ll see she actually lost lots of wight, on the other hand she doesn’t need to starve herself like BHTE era Kelly - that isn’t the normal for her. If you watch a show like Live EArth to criticise someone’s weight than I’m sorry for you.
    I hate the ultraskinny Nicol Richie-thing anyways. I’m not like that, you all aren’t like that, Clarkson isn’t like that, why caring so much about that? You want to say sg negative, create some more drama?

    I thought Kelly was fabboo! One of the best there, AND she was on key the whole time. I can’t say that about the majority of the performers. Some of them were really bad.
