DESPERATE BRIDESMAIDS

With only the exception of costar Marcia Cross who was M.I.A. taking care of her new twins, new bride Eva Longoria was joined by her entire ‘Desperate Housewives’ cast today for an extravagant celebration that would have made alter ego Gabrielle Solis proud.

On-screen neighbour Teri Hatcher, who looked stunning in a silky blue gown, came with her 9-year-old daughter Emerson Rose. Felicity Huffman, in a beige dress with ruffled v-neck collar, brought hubby William H. Macy. A solo Nicolette Sheridan stole the “red carpet” show in a strapless pink chiffon gown.

Off-screen pals Jessica Alba (who came with long-time BF Cash Warren) and Sheryl Crow (who was escorted by head coach for the San Antonio Spurs Greg Popovich) were also on hand looking like they were en route to a funeral.

Not surprisingly, no shots of the bride herself. I’m guessing that has something to do with the $2 million exclusivity contract Eva and hubby Tony Parker signed with OK! magazine. No stone was left unturned when it came to privacy (rumoured to cost $1 million.) While bodyguards used massive black umbrellas to shield the guests from view, local police kept the bride and groom well hidden under the 10-foot-high wooden panels they erected.

Nonetheless, according to Mrs. Parker’s peeps, she wore a silk wool and silk gazar scoop-back mermaid gown embroidered with silver metallic. The gown, which had a 5-foot-long train, was designed by Angel Sanchez.

Next up for the happy couple and their A-list pals? Yet another glitzy soiree at the the 17th century Vaux-le-Vicomte chateau southeast of Paris.

The’s are NOT A-listers. They’re just American TV personalities.

Muahaha that certainly is not Popovich

Nicollette looks like a man - she needs to cover up.

I just find it strange that Jessica Simpson is not at the wedding. Her and Eva are supposed to be good friends. Eva even appeared on Jess’s rolling skating video because of her friendship with her. I wonder what happened?A falling out???

Teri Hatcher’s dress is totally ugly. Nice colour but wtf is that detailing? Looks like something Betty White might wear….Also when did her boobs get so big?

Another thing: why is Nicolette wearing two different soft pink dresses? ONe has very thin straps and a bit of a scoop at the boobs and the other has no straps and goes straight across her boobs…

Finally - Jessica Alba and Cash look like they are going to a funeral….way too much black. My gosh, with all the fashion she is probably thrown, why couldn’t she find something more summery?

  7. shoe freak Says:

The one pink dress of Nicolette is from when she arrived in Paris, the other is from the wedding.

And yes, Crow’s escort is cute but he’s not Popovich.
