Superceleb couple Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon brought some star power to last night’s 13th annual Andre Agassi Grand Slam for Children benefit concert in Las Vegas.
Headlined by Rod Stewart, Sheryl Crow, The Killers and David Spade, the concert helped raise funds for the Andre Agassi Charitable Foundation, which provides recreational and educational opportunities for at-risk boys and girls.
While Nick looked like her personal driver, Mariah was typically trashy in a black single-sleeve gown. The almost 40-year-old pop diva topped off the tackiness with a jeweled butterfly glued to her back. Likely diamonds. After all, it is Mimi we’re talking about here.

She really does dress terribly! She’s got such an incredible voice and she really doesn’t need to get by on her sex appeal. Since maybe Heartbreaker when she started working with R’n'B dudes she has gone downhill, she doesn’t sing as strongly as she used to and her voice is covered up by all the production.

Sorry but I don’t buy her CDs and I listen to my own mix-compilations in my car and in my iPod. She’s utter trash and absolutely has no class. She has more than enough money in the world to dress age-appropriately but she dresses like a beaten-down hooker that had a little streak of good luck.
And marjan sweetie, her last CD was an utter disappointment. Only the first song hit the Top 10 while the other singles died. I hardly doubt the new song where she dresses again like a hooker will crack the Pop Charts.

BK, actually Sweetie, you’re wrong, mariah’s E=MC2 album is the second best FEMALE album of the year, which has sold 1,178,770 to date. so although mariah dresses “trashy” she is still selling records and getting paid. Yes, Touch My Body was her 18th Number One single beating Elvis (who has 17) and is three more singles away from beating the Beatles with 20 number ones.
so what Mariah’s second single and third single performed less than amazing. Bye Bye actually peaked at 16 (which isnt at all HORRIBLE) and I’ll Be Loving U Long Time peaked at (i believe) 56. Who Cares?! Its About Sales Figures. Mariah doesnt need to prove herself anymore. She is the biggest selling female artist in HISTORY and has more number one singles than any other female artist in history as well.
The only other artists this year to “beat” her in sales figures are…
Lil Wayne, Taylor Swift (which is a few thousand units away, or else Mariah would have the best selling FEMALE album of the year), and a few other hip hop guys. So with that said, Mariah has the SECOND best selling female ALBUM of 2008. and you said her album is a “Disappointment?” hahaha… check the facts. MADONNAS album is a DISAPPOINTMENT, ASHANTI’S album is a disappointment, JANETS album is a DISAPPOINTMENT… i can continue to list female’s that have released albums this year that havent even broken through the 500,000 and up mark.
