HUGH JACKMAN CELEBRATES THE BIG 4-0

Fresh from his family vacay in Cambodia, Hugh Jackman was all smiles as he and wife Deborra-Lee Furness along with business partner John Palermo headed out to the Royal Motorboat Club today to celebrate his 40th birthday!

The birthday boy, looking tanned and wearing a grey suit with blue shirt, arrived at the venue in a black limousine, reportedly unaware of the secret gathering. The Australian Girls Choir sang Happy Birthday to a beaming and surprised Hugh.

Hugh’s wife reportedly spent months planning the event, which attracted messages from actors and directors from around the world.

Happy b-day, stud!

    Please Hugh,
Let your 40th birthday be the time you reveal your true self to the world. Dump that fugly-ass beard of a wife!!

And while we’re at it….PLEASE do a nude scene while you’ve still got it! Who want to see a wrinkled ass.

WTF is up with her shoes? Is the business partner also Hugh’s BF?

The business partner is Hugh’s BF. His “wife” is the replacement for his mother who left him at a young age.

Wow… Please, somebody help me! are you talking serious?
    Are you serious?
Can you explain all this a little more?
I live across the world, it is true, but I’ve seen all the movies of Hugh and I read the press too. But do not think that this issue is so commented?
    Tell me why?
beyond the privacy of a person their job?
(Sorry for my English is not very good)

Oh’ MY GOD, are you serious?????? I can’t believe you can look at this …….what ever she is and not say UGLY!!!!!! I am not a hater, but come on, she is flat out old and ugly. She can’t obviously dress herself. She has a flap (or I should say flaps), ugly thin freezy hair, and ugly shoes. As some body just said “he is either perfect or gay”. I really hope he’d read this.

I really hope he would never read this. I can’t believe people make such horrible comments. Hugh Jackman and his wife clearly have something with each other none of us can see or even begin to imagine. Its amazing and inspiring and if they can survive a life through the media (though they avoid it respectfully well) then they can survive anything.

The only niggle I have is that guys as tall as Hugh Jackman should be reserved for girls taller than 5′10 :P

    He’s so perfect!!
And I cannot believe you people!!! Even if he was gay, WHO CARES!!! he’s a great actor!!!
He’s been married for like 12 years! he’s always with his wife and kids…
So you are telling me that you would preffer he dumped a woman every month?? Would that make him “manlier”???

You americans are always thinking about who is gay or not!

Hugh Jackman and Howard Stern discuss their practice of Transcendental Meditation (TM).

You can see the video here:

I know there are many celebrities who practice TM to boost their creativity and reduce stress.

What sordid remarks. Why people have to bash Deborra-Lee Furness is beyond me. She obviously loves her husband very much and he loves her. Ohhhhhhhhhhh I get it now, it’s pure out and out jealousy and envy. I think very, very highly of Hugh Jackman, and YES, if God created a PERFECT man, Hugh Jackman would be my choice. For those of you who are questioning his “manliness”, I would suggest you look at your own lives to see just what it is you are missing within yourselves, otherwise you would not be throwing such accusations. As for Deborra-Lee, I commend her for standing by her husband. She is a woman that KNOWS what it means to TRULY be a wife. I believe that Hugh Jackman was raised to be the kind of person he is, loving, caring, honest and non-judgemental, just like a true Christian. He may do the TM thing, but you never lose the teachings that were placed in your heart by Jesus. Hugh DOES know the truth, as everyone should, and he lives them in his daily life, and that is why he is so successful. So go ahead, be jealous and envious and judgemental, because in the end, Deborra and Hugh will still be together.

Sorry but I think Hugh Jackman has settled for way less (absent mother in childhood, used to poofing up inadequate people in his life??). Despite him constantly trying to inflate her, what I see is a mediocre actress & not so charming person with bad taste, a clingy partner, & she does not keep in shape or try for his sake, dresses like a granny almost on purpose, seem to have body issues (is always fully dressed on the beach etc)… His calibre and hers… totally differet on all levels - despite the professions of Karma and love (been there, wrote the book until I woke up and realized the Grand Canyon Gap created from childhood issues)

I’m all for true love, but some attachments are made out of lack from childhood… To have sex with your Mummy is a little bit scary and shows unresolved issues. When he talks about her (shich he does in almost every sentence, you get a feeling of “My Mummy said…”)

I don’t buy it one bit, sorry.

Lena, I am so sorry you had issues in your childhood, but that does NOT make you a genius on the subject. AND, unfortunately, you could never convice me (or anyone else)that you are “all for true love”, due to the fact that your statements above prove you out on that point.

I certainly don’t get a feeling of “My Mummy sai…” as you mentioned above, when Hugh speaks of his wife. If you would research a little further into Hugh’s childhood, you would know that he actually spent as much time with his mom as his dad. She actually, from what I’ve heard from Hugh’s interviews, and read in various articles, is still active in his life, and with his children. Probably not to the extent that some people are, but, nontheless, they still communicate and worked out any problems they might have had early on. It is my suggestion that people do their research BEFORE harsh judgements and statements are made….it’s called “insert foot in mouth” syndrome.
