KATIE TAKES ON THE PROTESTERS

Katie Holmes has a great deal on her plate to process right now as she has been praised by her loving husband Tom Cruise on her debut on Broadway Thursday night but was also shouted at by anti-Scientology protesters outside the theater.

The drama started before the curtains went up in the Gerald Schoenfeld Theater with a group of about 20 protesters, some masked, chanting “Scientology is a cult” and “Free Katie”, according to the New York Daily News. The All My Sons star Katie will have to find a way to cope with the protesters, as they will continue to express themselves and fight for her “freedom”.

The anti-Scientology critics of the group Anonymous are gearing up for another protest against Katie and husband Tom’s controversial faith outside the Gerald Schoenfeld theatre in New York when the Arthur Miller play opens officially on October 16.

I wonder how Catholics or Christians would feel if people stood outside their work to protest the fact that their religions are nothing more than cults that deal in behavior control, child abuse and fear mongering.

Why not since it is a one woman play.. Since she is the only actress in it.

.When do we see that gorgous guy that plays her boyfriend.. or Diane Weist or
John Lithgow.. Have them come in the back way and let Katie and Tom take
over the front entrance….Since she is the only one going in and out of the
theatre.. This is getting tired of seeing just Katie going into the theatre.. When
will will see the other actors.. ..in this play..??

Geez. What business is it of theirs what Katie’s religion is? They don’t know shit about the Cruises except what they gleen from the media. And it’s not their place to judge anyway! Don’t they have anything better to do? Or any better cause to protest for? Get a life!

I’m sorry but I think this is absolutely uncalled for. Who has any right to protest against another person’s religious beliefs!? Who cares if Katie is part of Scientology, I think if she wanted out she would never have got into it in the first place. She’s not an idiot and this crap that goes on must be really hurtful to her. She shouldn’t have to put up with it. These dickheads should be arrested, they are just looking for attention.

LOOK what happened the first night of previews.. nothing.. they don’t like it when they don’t get the attention … The protesters won’t stop Katie from doing
her performance… The show went on … and no one talked about the protesters.

If they try again … they won’t be doing anything drastic.. ..Again this is Katie’s
    play…
