Lourdes Leon celebrated her coming of age last night as mom Madonna threw her a Bat Mitzvah at the Kabbalah Center in Midtown Manhattan.
Taking a break from touring the world, Madge set the stage as her little girl began the transition from girl to woman.
Now that Lourdes is Bat Mitzvah, she has the responsibilities of any another adult, including following the 613 laws of the Torah. Or whatever holy book Madonna is currently following.
Lourdes picked up a slew of gifts, including her own tallit, which is a prayer shawl worn during the morning services.
Lourdes will celebrate her 12th birthday on October 14.

Lourdes has a Spanish (Catholic) father and an Italian (Catholic) mother, so it’s kind of funny to have her a Bat Mitzvah. Kabalah is not standard Judiasm. Jews have to be born out of a Jewish mother to be considered real Jews.
