It appears that Sarah Jessica Parker and hubby Matthew Broderick are going to great measures to save their troubled marriage.
Shortly after news broke that Matthew had cheated on SJP during filming of the Sex and the City movie, the couple booked it to Ireland in an attempt to escape the subsequent media glare. When some R&R didn’t work, they tried couple’s counseling. All seemed to be going well until Matthew stopped showing up one day. His wife was naturally devastated but she certainly didn’t give up. Her hope? To just start again with “a clean slate.”
In what is hopefully Sarah Jessica’s final attempt to patch her one-way marriage, the 44-year-old actress is dragging her unfaithful dog of a husband on a family road trip. Photogs caught up with them today as they packed up the car and prepared for their weekend voyage.
And as everyone knows, the end-all cure to family tension and strife is to cramp everyone up in a small car and force them to drive across the country.

As a woman who has been in her shoes, I wish I could tell her that she is only wasting her time. She is clearly trying to hold it all together for the sake of her son but if you are the only one who is present in the marriage, it will never work. My heart goes out to her.
I really respect the fact that they are at least trying to sort things out. I feel like divorce is just way to simpler an option for people these days, especially in Hollywood. Some marriages are worth saving, others are not….but I think you owe it to yourself to at least try.

I’m happy to see quite few mature comments here, ingoring the “leave him, is he gay.etc dumbass ones, everyone deserves a second chance and if this is even true, then Sarah has shown true strenght and seems to be fighting for her family.I have so much respect for any woman who deals with things and dosent bolt immediatley, it takes courage, true love and characther, divorce is the easy way out.
David cheated on victoria beckham and they seemed to have worked it out and are happy so it can work if they really want it to.
I hope they work it out. They seem like such a beautiful family and their son is so cute. If the media will leave them alone,it is a lot easier to sort through their personal lives.

Maybe not. She cheated on Aidan and he forgave her, so if she was cheated on, she’d probably think about giving the guy a second chance since she’s been in his shoes.
