Katy Perry is seen boarding a boat after lunch at Watermark restaurant at Balmoral Beach on Friday.

The one-hit wonder diva enjoyed an ice-cream as she sailed off into the sunset.

Let’s hope that scene is a metaphor for Katy’s career. Particularly the “riding off into the sunset” part.

In other Perry news, the abrasive pop star has admitted that her mother once dated guitar legend Jimi Hendrix.

Perry told The Sun that her mother, Mary Hudson, met Hendrix while travelling the world after running away from home. “He just came up to her in a club and picked her out,” she said.

She also mentioned that her father was a major LSD dealer, whose friendship with Timothy Leary – an infamous pioneer of ‘acid’ in the 1960s – almost cost him his life.

“Dad would have died from one tab too many if he hadn’t found God.”
