After stopping by a gas station in Los Angeles to pick up some party supplies (i.e. cigarettes and Red Bull), the 22-year-old actress headed over to Samantha’s Yom Kippur services.
Otherwise known as the Day of Atonement, Yom Kippur is the most solemn and important of the Jewish holidays. Its central themes are atonement and repentance. Jews traditionally observe this holy day with a 25-hour period of fasting and intensive prayer, often spending most of the day in synagogue services.
Raised in a Catholic household and having dabbled in Kabbalah, Lindsay is rumoured to be converting to Judaism to show her commitment to Sam.
Interestingly, Conservative Judaism does not for marriage outside its faith, but encourages acceptance of the non-Jewish spouse within the family, hoping that such acceptance will lead to conversion.
Does this mean LiLo and SamRo are one step closer to marriage? We’re just sayin’…..

Well, I don’t know why she would convert, considering it is a sin to be gay in the Jewish comunity. Doesn’t make add up. You can’t be cathlic and gay either!

Next up, Mr. Obama will re-regulate the economy, with no ill effects whatsoever! You may have heard that for the past 40 years most politicians believed deregulation was good for the U.S. economy. You might have even heard that much of today’s financial mess tracks to loose money policy, or Fannie and Freddie excesses. Our magician will show the fault was instead with our failure to clamp down on innovation and risk-taking, and will fix this with new, all-encompassing rules. Presto!
What makes this piece hit home is the schizophrenia of liberalism itself. Liberals really do believe you create jobs by raising taxes or make peace with fanatics by just talking to them. Despite the fact that common sense tells you one thing, liberals will always eschew common sense for what feels good emotionally. So the real question isn’t will Obama perform magic but rather whether or not he believes in magic in the first place?
