GLAMOUR GALS

From Jenny from the Block to award-winning actress starring in an acclaimed independent flick, Jennifer Lopez has done it all. And now the multi-talent dishes in the August issue of Glamour about love, life and TomKat!

Jennifer on working with husband Marc Anthony: “think the best partner you can have is someone who makes you want to be the best form of yourself. We do that for each other; that’s why we work well together. We made all these promises to each other in the beginning of the marriage, because both of us have difficult careers to manage with a partner. We don’t have 9-to-5 jobs; our day could be 24 hours long if we let it. So you have to carve out your time and make your agreements: “We are going to travel with each other. If I’m working, you’re not going to work. If we both have to work, we’re going to make sure we keep that to a minimum.”

Jennifer on having kids: “People want it to go to the next level? Marc and I just saw the film Children of Men. The message of the movie was if we don’t have children, there’s no hope for the future. And without hope, society just goes to pieces. Maybe that’s what the pregnancy rumors are about—hope for the future.”

Jennifer on double dates with Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes: “It’s funny, because when you get married, you do find other couples to hang out with. We have more couple friends than ever. I think that’s because we’re a solid couple ourselves. Marc really hit it off with Tom—they just got close.”

Jennifer on the sexiest thing about a woman: “Confidence: It’s the difference between the girl with the perfect body in a one-piece bathing suit, pulling at it and thinking she’s not thin enough or doesn’t have big enough boobs—and the girl who people call a bit overweight, but meanwhile, she’s wearing a bikini and guys are saying, “God, she’s sexy.” It all has to do with how you feel about yourself—it’s about projecting the attitude, I’m OK with who I am.”

Drew Barrymore has become the first celebrity to front a Gucci campaign. The Hollywood starlet has been photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin in a set of sensual poses on a beach for Gucci’s fine jewellery line. “Drew brought wonderful energy and excitement to this project,” says Gucci’s creative director, Frida Giannini. “She is such a strong and confident woman, but her humour and sensitivity made her completely disarming.”

The campaign breaks worldwide in September. Stay tuned for the full editorial Vogue editorial of Drew including the much talked about Gucci ads.

I love Jennifer and Drew! 2 of my fave celebs! I know my2cents, Jenny does sound a lot more her age now then she did always talking about money and wealth and the ghetto. She is owning that she is a dive now and I love it.. Drew is beautiful and smart as always. One of the few celebs who actually has a few braincells, even though she supposedly killed them all aged 9 using hardcore drugs.
