Hunky Zac Efron opens up about his crazy life ever since he skyrocketed to fame in the new issue of Entertainment Weekly.
Here are some highlights:
Zac on life with the paparazzi: “I’m always bobbing and weaving through alleyways trying to get to meetings, scouting out and looking outside doors and running around like Jason Bourne. ‘I’ve always loved secret agent movies, whether it be James Bond or Bourne Identity. Now I’m kind of living it.”Zac on plotting to escape the teen scene and wanting to go legit: “I would love to just sit down and talk with Leonardo DiCaprio and Johnny Depp and pick their brains about their early careers. They do it because they love it, not because they enjoy being famous. You have to have good foresight and be really careful. If you don’t adapt and learn at a very young age, you can really mess up.”
Zac on turning down big-bucks recording contracts: “I didn’t want to do what everyone else did. I thought to myself, ‘What can I contribute to the music industry?’ I can’t say that I would be proud of the work I would put down.”

I think Zac is going to be around for a long time unlike the rest of the HSM cast. He is an actor and a pretty boy which is okay for the long run!
He is a goodlooking kid but I like my leading men more rugged and manly looking! Maybe he will outgrow his boyish good looks and turn into a leading man!!
You know I never liked any of these HSM kids…but the fact that he said he truned down music contracts because he wouldn’t have much to offer to the music industry make me like him a lot!!
He always looks like he is going to cry when he sings, which makes me giggle.
But he is one pretty dude.

so glad he turned down the music career. it would’ve been a joke like the other hsm kids. sure, they made lots of money, but it won’t help them in the long run.
he sounds like he has a passion for acting and is concentrating on longevity rather than fame.
