Casey Aldridge, a.k.a. the father of Jamie Lynn Spears’ baby Maddie, is finally opening up about tabloid reports that he was unfaithful to Jamie Lynn with a woman named Kelli Dawson.
“I never had a relationship with her,” he says. “My only relationship with her was as a friend, and me and Jamie were both friends with her.” And he adds, “There was never another girl pregnant, ever. I’m 19. Jamie’s the only girl I’ve ever had pregnant. In a small town, rumors do get started.”
Adds Jamie Lynn: “What happened was that one of those girls did it, and in this small town when one of them does it, they’re all like, ‘Good idea.’ They all jumped on the bandwagon.”
As for whether they have any plans to get married? Jamie-Lynn says: “We both agree that we want Maddie to be a little bit older so that she can be a part of it, so that she won’t just be sitting there the whole time. We want her to be old enough so that we can enjoy it. We are engaged, and we are really happy with where we are right now. There is no rush for anything. Isn’t that right, Casey?” Casey adds: “Some people think that you should just get married if you have a baby and you’re young. I think you should try it out and see.”
While marriage may not be in Jamie Lynn’s near future, perhaps another baby is! The always reliable National Enqurier claims that the 17-year-old Zoey 101 actress is expecting for the second time – a mere three months after giving birth to Maddie.
Says an insider: “Jamie Lynn is about eight weeks pregnant, and she and her mom Lynne are hysterical. Neither of them knows what to do, but for now they’re trying to keep the news from getting out.”

I think they are just a couple of kids trying to make sense of a very grown up situation. Not everything may be rosey and perfect in their world, but at least they are trying to make it right. If he’s a liar, the truth will come out. It always does. And you really can’t judge the guy by a couple of pictures and one interview where the editor picked and chose which words to put in or take out.
