Looks like Nicole Richie isn’t the only one with child.
E! News has reportedly “confirmed” that Christina Aguilera and hubby Jordan Bratman are expecting their first child together.
‘There was no immediate comment from a publicist for the couple.’
Meanwhile, Xtina’s estranged father, Fausto Aguilera, has also confirmed the pop star is pregnant with her first child.
He tells the upcoming issue of Life and Style: “I’m so excited. I want Christina to achieve all her goals. I wish her all the happiness in the world.”
Hmm…looks like everyone is talking about Christina’s pregnancy except for Christina.
I’ll believe it when I hear it from the horse’s mouth. This could simply be just another case of Dad trying to get a little of that celebrity spot light (Ã la Michael Lohan and Joe Simpson) by making a baby announcement.

I think they would be good parents. They seem like they really love each other and try to stay out of the tabloids as much as possible.

i agree too - they’re certainly one of the more grounded young hollywood couples - I think their kid stands a better chance than Nicole Richie’’s.
What a bore, how base. I guess I’m jaded with all the Hollywood spawn. It takes no skill whatever to conceive and I all sick about the baby parade in Hollywood right now.
Although I agree with all the above posters. If someone has to procreate - she’d do ok.

^^ Meg - that baby won’t give her a moment to apply so much as lipstick much less all of that other crap she piles on that pretty face of hers - lol! I think we’ll see a much more “natural” Christina after the baby is born.
My reaction to this was “awww, how nice”, whereas my reaction to Nicole Richie’s baby was “oh no, that poor child”. We know that Christina has her head screwed on straight because of how she conducts herself in public. Unfortunately that cannot be said for Richie because of, um, how she conducts herself in public.
Hollywood has replaced the Birkin bag with a baby, apparently. It’s the status symbol for the new millenium, I guess. A bit ridiculous, to be honest. I do think she’s one of the more grounded celebrities out there, and if the celebrity spawning must continue, she’s a decent choice.
Congrats to them - They’ll be nice parents. Low profile, and cute.
Christina has grown up since meeting Jordan. I still think the kid will be fucked up, but only because it will have too much, too soon. However, at least these two seem really in love, so it’s a start.
I am kind of disappointed. I thought they would wait a while more and make sure their marriage is even more solid. She’s 26 right? I don’t know, but I think it’s kind of young. That’s my opinion….I am happy for her because I actually like her. I hope she shows Britney how it’s really done, and done with class.
I am definitely a Christina fan, but is it me, or lately has she been resembling more of a Vargas-OpmpaLoompa?!?
It’s so funny to look at the careers of Britney vs. Christina. Remember when she was Dirrrty and Britney was not a girl, not yet a woman. LOL. Now look at the difference in how people view them. I just find it very amusing.
