“I hope that Dave forgives me. I’ve always enjoyed going on his show over many years and I look forward to coming back. He’s one of the greats,” McCain tells Entertainment Tonight in a two-part interview starting tonight. McCain also said, “I’m asking my son Jimmy who’s a Marine to send me his flack jacket and his helmet! I’ll try to go back on.”
When asked about his running mate’s debate performance, he said he was “pleasantly surprised because Sarah Palin did such a great job.” And he said media criticism seemed to motivate her. “I think it fired her up a little bit for the debate. This is a tough environment but, most importantly it didn’t faze Sarah Palin. She knows who she is.”
Added Cindy McCain, “I think criticism has been more just amongst the media and not so much with the American people at all.”
As for his thoughts on Tina Fey’s SNL impersonation of Palin? “That’s part of the routine that you go through and Tina Fey… nobody enjoys it more than Sarah Palin. Comedy is fine and I think we ought to do a lot of it. I wish there wasn’t quite so much of the personal stuff that goes on, but we’re big people, we know how to handle it.”

Obama couldn’t tell you a thing about military strategy because he was too busy cozying up to Oprah before his campaign while John McCain and Sarah Palin’s children were making a commitment to serve their country. At least McCain knows what the dangers are and whether they are worth the sacrifice. Obama is all talk, no substance.

O worked with Weather terrorist Bill Ayers for six (6) years at the Annenberg Trust.
Ayers gave O his first fundraiser.
O has been a member in good standing with the Chicago Daley machine abomination for decades. He’s stood against reform and change and hope for better politics in Chicago. He took thousands from Tony Rezko and got his house because of Rezko.
I hope Palin whips his lying rear end from now till Nov.
And McCain could come out of his gentleman’s closet and let fly with some fighter pilot missiles.
Letting O get away with his non-pol. record and his terrible personal associations’ record is a disservice to Americans. If the MSM isn’t going to do it, the Republicans must.

never thought I would agree with former President Bill Clinton or his wife but……..
Alla Bill Clinton - Obama is truly a fairy tale (gone bad - I added that) and he is certainly a typical Chicago political punk - (of the worse kind - I added that as well).
Senator Clinton - I have a long record, John McCain has a long record and Barack Obama delivered a speech (all his speeches are socialistic and create class distinction- I added that).

Except the charges against him in the Keating scandal were dropped. The link to mediamatters (re. Liddy), is a radical leftist web site, so I am sure the story is twisted at best. Your link to the NYT article (indian gambling) is not cited, so I am not counting that as quite true. Then the stuff about the Iran Contra was tried in court and exposed. So that does not hold water.
So if any of that is even partially true, who has the more shady past? Most of Obama’s connections have not been given the light of a trial or investigation, McCain’s have. We are all aware of what happened.
Obama, on the other hand, has hidden or dismissed the truth. Even his supporters turn a blind eye. Let’s put these two experiences of a shady past and see who the evedince weighs heavier beyond a reasonable doubt their ties to terrorism and radical group involvement. My choice is clear.
We Can Make a Bigger Difference. Please be sure to get out and vote. McCain/Palin gets my vote. God Bless America.

Extremely Happy to Hear This!
I am very happy to hear that Obama’s internet donations are going to be investigated. I’ve always wondered how America could be doing so bad, but Obama so good in getting campsign contributions. Perhaps Obama’s getting some help from overseas?
Unfortunately, this investigation will not be done before the election. Obama and his cohorts figure that if Obama wins, he can use his power to kill any investigation into his money sources and thus any foreign influence can be covered up. This is YET ANOTHER REASON why Obama sholdn’t be elected President.
There are too many questionable things about Obama - his anti-America associations with the likes of Ayers and Rev. Wright - and Obama’s constant desire to complain about our country and want to make friends with the world that includes rogue, terrorist regimes.
I don’t believe that Obama is who he says he is. I believe that his associations and far-left liberal leaning votes says exactly who this man is - A dangerous inside threat to our country.

No time would be a good time to reveal who the real Obama is. But the American public absolutely needs to know Obama?s past and very recent connections in his political and somewhat private life because it sheds light on his poor judgement. This is not swift boating. What I don?t understand is why anyone (including Hillary Clinton) is afraid of bringing up these issues in his past. It is clearly because he is the first black viable candidate for President but that does not mean he should not be scrutinized as everyone else. It is important because this is the person who will lead America and be her Commander-in-Chief. America needs a leader who can make timely and quick decisions. Let me also point out that is was John McCain who came to the aid of John Kerry when he was swift boated. McCain in no uncertain terms stated that John Kerry?s record in the army was solid proof of his story. Barack Obama?s relationships with Bill Ayers, Tony Rezko and Jeremy Wright reveal very poor judgement on his part. But that has never stopped him. He advanced his political career by engaging in Chicago-style dirty politics eliminating his opponents unfairly. His record of voting present more than 120 times, his story of his ?fat finger? voting when he meant to push the other button reveal, as we all know, that he is obviously very good with words when rehearsed and when adlibbing the same slogans?but not very good thinking on his feet. That is why he abhors debates and discussing the issues (although he has become better at it lately). He usually gives some quasi comments on the issues of the day, has to study the subject a little more, waits around for the liberal pundits and others to cover the subject and to gain consensus, reflects a little more ? only then does he feel comfortable taking a stance. His campaign literally incorporates all of David Gergen?s advice into their strategy and planning. They watch CNN like a hawk. Handling tough situations comes with experience and this is why John McCain will be a better leader and Commander-in-Chief. Barack Obama is running on a message of change because he does not have a record to run on. Americans should not be fooled into thinking that he is the messiah who will calm all their fears, bring about peace on the land and solve all their problems. Don?t drink the Cool-Aid just yet. He is a calculating, conventional politician like all the others ? but without the record. PS. Obama would have never signed up to serve his country in the army like John McCain and others. He would always take the path of least resistance ? and that is absolutely not woven into the fabric of the American Way. Americans are hard working and not afraid to take up a worldly cause.

Obama has had the greatest free ride ever. As I watched the Today show and saw the pathetic interview with Meredith Vierra I just had to laugh. She brought up concerns made by the McCain camp that Obama had ties to Ayers, but instead of making this an issue and actually investigating it, she dismissed his relationship for him and pounded the McCain camp for turning the page on the economy and focusing on Obama’s character. This is the biggest joke ever. I have to wonder what people on?!!!
