Though she’s yet to join the ranks of Brad Pitt and Pete Wentz by publicly making a major donation to the campaign to fight California’s Proposition 8, Ellen Degeneres denounced the proposition last night during her appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
Even Leno — with all his homophobic tendencies — got into the action by spreading a gay-friendly message of tolerance.
Said the late night host: “The economy is falling apart — I don’t care what you do!”
Added newly married Ellen: “I look at the people that are losing their homes and they’re forclosing. And people in Texas who have lost their homes. There are so many people that need money right now. And if you’re raising millions of dollars, give it to those people, please. Because you don’t need to promote hate.”

Barack Obama is, in fact, a natural-born citizen of the United States, for the simple reason that he was born on American soil (in Hawaii, two years after it acquired statehood). The age and citizenship status of Obama’s parents have no bearing whatsoever on Obama’s citizenship.
Any confusion on this point is the result of misunderstanding the legal concepts of jus sanguinis (right of blood) and jus soli (right of birthplace). Here is how the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service explains the difference:
The 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution guarantees citizenship at birth to almost all individuals born in the United States or in U.S. jurisdictions, according to the principle of jus soli. Certain individuals born in the United States, such as children of foreign heads of state or children of foreign diplomats, do not obtain U.S. citizenship under jus soli.
Certain individuals born outside of the United States are born citizens because of their parents, according to the principle of jus sanguinis (which holds that the country of citizenship of a child is the same as that of his / her parents).
It is a fact that under the provisions of Article Two of the U.S. Constitution naturalized citizens are ineligible to hold the office of president, but this disqualification does not apply to Barack Obama, who has been a citizen since birth.

FactCheck.org staffers “touched, examined and photographed” the original birth certificate kept at the Obama campaign headquarters in Chicago and concluded the document is genuine.
“The evidence is clear: Barack Obama was born in the U.S.A.,” FactCheck.org staffers concluded.

I care LESS who is behind this….the TRUTH is I for ONE and hundred of thousands of honest citizens want the TRUTH and Now will be a Great time to get it BEFORE ELECTIONS go on…..this is the sad state of the world and no wonder we are in the MESS we are in NOW!!!!! Just look around. I’m past sick of the Obama LOVE FEST is makes me ILL than grown adults can shove aside the lack of OBAMA’S experience and make excuses for the bad people who he has joined with in the past and now. This is very serious and please do some homework, look up some of the TRUTHS not just what is in his lovely books that he has written for you to feel warm and conected…..he cares only for himself to get in then you will SEE the damage you have done to the world your childen and grandkids. Several Of Obama’s own relatives say he was born in Kenya, and his Mother flew herself and the infant Barack Obama to get his birth registered as if he was born in Hawaii, making him a US Citizen. The birth certificate lists the race of his father as “African”. In 1961, that would not be the term used to designate a race. Berg has additional evidence that the birth certificate was a forgery, including the fact that there is no record of his birth in any hospital in Hawaii.
The suit also claims that even if Obama had an American citizenship, he lost it when his mother married another man and the whole family moved to Indonesia. This action gave Obama an Indonesian citizenship. This would also put into question if he were an American citizen even now.

I consider this lawsuit very serious. I read the actual filing of the lawsuit and it seems very serious. There is a good chance that Obama has committed fraud and could wind up with jail time. this is a very serious matter. I think the constitution should make the rules more strict on becoming president. nothing can be more important to America then having a totally loyal President. Obama is NOT totally loyal. He is definitely a citizen of Kenya even today and most likely still a citizen of Indonesia. That is not appropriate for a President.
I believe Obama went back to Hawaii for a week recently to cover up this problem. everyone is covering up the truth.

Here’s the status:
Last week Senator Obama and the Democratic National Committee filed a Motion to Dismiss the Berg v. Obama lawsuit.
On Monday, Mr. Berg filed an answer requesting that the suit not be dismissed and that the Court order production of documents proving Senator Obama’s consitutional qualifications to serve as President of The United States.
As of 1 AM EST today, October 2nd, 2008, the Court has not ruled on the Motion for Dismissal in Berg v. Obama.

Prop 8 isn’t about discrimination against homosexuals. Prop 8 is about protecting the family unit, religious freedoms, parental rights and even democracy. The consequences are far reaching. Furthermore, under a civil union homosexual couples have all the rights that a married couple have. California allows civil unions. It’s just not called marriage. Move to Canada…we love you up here, and gay marriage has been legal for a couple years now. Surprisingly the churches are all still standing, God has not single out Canadians for eternal punishment and sent the Apacolypse. In fact its sunny and a plus 5 Degrees Celcius.
I’m a gay Catholic, and my church still lets me in the doors…and I don’t catch on fire when I walk down the ailse to recieve the body of Christ.
Despite what religious extremist like to think, the bible was written and interpretted by MAN, not Jesus, not God….there message was one of acceptance and love…not hate and persucution.
