The boys of Gossip Girl grace the November issue of Details magazine.
Inside the mag, the trio open up about fame, love and chest hair.
Some highlights:
Chase on Gossip Girl fans: “Once when we were on location on the Upper East Side, these girls came up, you know, with the Blair headbands and their skirts hiked up higher than they should be, and I said to them, ‘So, are you looking at colleges?’ and they said, ‘No, we’re in seventh grade.’ I was like, ‘What?! You shouldn’t even be watching our show!’”Chace on after his touch-ups are done: “I literally go into the bathroom and wipe off one layer [of makeup. My occasional zit is] a big deal—oh, they turn on the alarms for that. And they get mad if I get sunburned or if I get a haircut.â€
Chace on being contracted for six years, like his costars: “It never really gets frustrating. Sure, sometimes you just want to have a scene where you’re drunk or having fun. I’m hoping for a fall from grace for Nate. Five years from now, I better have murdered someone!â€
Penn on his on-and-off-screen relationship with costar Blake Lively: “[It's] wonderful and also something to grapple with [in terms of mixing work and pleasure]. You have to draw the line somewhere. I’m fine talking about my family and personal history, because it humanizes you. But I have to save some s— for me.â€
Ed on Penn’s chest hair: “Penn said he has to shave his chest hair because it’s threatening “Reeeaallly … Well, I think Penn’s chest hair may be more like a scaahf. It actually comes out of his neck! So maybe that’s why he has to cut it. Threatening? I don’t know what threatening hair would look like. We’d have to get Penn here to see!â€
Ed on being miserable approaching the end of school in the U.K.:â€I don’t understand how the government expects a 16-year-old to know what they want to do. It made me incredibly anxious and upset.â€

Now who are these girls??? lol!! Where have all the MEN gone in Hollywood??? It’s really sad that the men look like women these days!
Has anyone besides me noticed that Obama accuses everyone of “lying”, but when he is caught in a lie he has “mispoken” or his quite was “taken out of context” Are we really supposed to believe that he is the only one who never lies?
This guy is dangerous to all that America holds dear, namely our wallets!
I will be glad when the fab of this show is OVER, and it’s canceled.

I like these guys and I admit to liking Gossip Girl as well. These three guys were just unknown actors and now they are doing really well for themselves, good for them! I think Chase is veryyyyy attractive in a Ken doll kind of way and Penn looks really good here too. I’ve never really seen the appeal with Ed though…I think his character is awesome but that’s about it.
They are Hot!
I never miss the show. These characters are so fun to watch fall from grace. I’m a big fan of Kelly Rutherford as well, as far back as Melrose Place days.
