A fresh-faced Jennifer Hudson was spotted landing at New York’s JFK airport in the wee hours of the morning today.
The American Idol alum is kicking off a whirlwind promo tour and her first stop is an appointment to chat with the gals of The View this morning.
After nabbing a pivotal role in the star-studded screen adaptation of Dreamgirls, which she won an Academy Award for, Miss Hudson will fulfill yet another dream and begin a new chapter in her Cinderella story with the release of her self-titled debut album.
On shelves tomorrow, the record boasts a roster of A-list writers and producers including Ne-Yo, who helmed the hit single Spotlight; Timbaland, StarGate, The Underdogs, Robin Thicke, Missy Elliott, Ludacris, T-Pain, Diane Warren — and even includes a duet with third-season winner Fantasia.
Meanwhile, J.Hud is rumoured to be in talks to launch a clothing line “for average-sized women, not for size 0s.”

money, can you read? I said, I DON’T CARE. I didn’t comment on her looks. I said she can SING. So, I don’t care- I’d rather look at her than some pretty bimbo “singer” or “actress” any day. Jennifer deserves her fame, unlike most people in Hollywood these days, and I’m not even a big fan of hers.
I agree with PSL…she can sing and that is the bottomline. Plus, she is an Oscar winner…so suck it!!

I’m all for being natural…but not when you look like this! I know she just got off a plane but she’s a celebrity in the public eye who is not so attractive even when she’s got makeup on! I think she’s a painful singer to listen to and her acting is pretty poor as well. Don’t get her appeal.
