Though they’re more known more for their movies than their politics, Demi and Ashton spoke out to young people as concerned voters themselves. Their message was simple, telling the young people just to get out and vote.
The duo called President George W. Bush an “idiot” and said through taxes, Americans are funding the destruction of the country.
As actors, Mr. and Mrs. Kutcher said they don’t pretend to have the credibility to sway the voters, saying most of the people who showed up would have voted for Obama anyways. But they say as concerned citizens, they felt they had to stand up for change.
Says Demi: “I think that this time around I feel like I would be irresponsible if I don’t do something, and I think that this is just kind of the avenue and arena that we can best serve in.”

Many conservatives have been creating chatter in regards to having Palin step down. It’s on CNN. McCain made a huge mistake and LOST my vote!!

If the great American middle class ever figures out the trillion dollar phony mortgage scam from Freddie and Fannie, they will finally rise up in wrath and throw the liberal bums out. Let it start hitting their pocket books, their ATM cards and credit cards, let their home prices fall like a rock — and Barack Obama will be out of politics, along with the Democrat majority in Congress.

That is why the Democrats are screaming with fear about the abyss that has suddenly opened at their feet. Since the Carter Administration first threatened the banks with punishment if they didn’t allow themselves to be robbed by sub-prime borrowers, since the Clinton Administration made it all even worse in 1995, even the Democrats have known full well that the bills had to come due at some time.
This crisis is not financial — it is political. It’s not a market failure. It’s a decades-long robbery by the Left, finally exposed for what it is.
The Democrats deserve the wrath of the voters this time.
Sarah Palin could defeat Obama and Biden Thursday night. All she has to do is tell the truth about the Democrats and the Trillion Dollar Scam. Not to do so would be collude in a massive Ponzi scheme, designed to fall on the shoulders of the taxpayers.
This is precisely why we have elections.
John McCain and Sarah Palin will need a lot of guts to do this. But the scam has to be exposed, or the fetid wounds in the financial sector will fester and metastasize.

Have you all ever heard Community Reinvestment Act?
Stop claiming to be informed but you prolly dont remember those dire warnings going back nine years ago that the Community Reinvestment Act would eventually cause a major financial and banking crisis in this country.
The Community Reinvestment Act was pushed hard by Bill Clinton, although it originated under Jimmy Carter. Asked about it the other day on one of the morning TV talk shows, Clinton said times back then were different. Fannie and Freddie had lots of money and he (in his infinite wisdom) decided that the money should not go to share holders or to executive compensation, but should be used to put the poor into homes.
Fannie and Freddie became big contributors to the Democratic Party. The sub-prime business paid off-at least while the bubble was growing. And the Kerry, Hillary and Obama campaigns have numbered among the leading recipients of the largess of the two mortgage lenders.
There is no shame among the left. When they think Bush is responsible for the collapse of the banking system, they scream at you. When you point out that the Community Reinvestment Act created a pattern of abuse that now threatens the entire financial system, without hesitation liberals say, “They’re all corrupt.”
Ashton’s mother is pretty good looking—-wait—you say that’s NOT his Mom ?????
I wish all these celebrities telling us to vote for Obama would just shut up. They are so annoying.
Someone said, “Demi’s face looks funny” ? uh, no it looks pretty! she’s awesome and so is her sweet and humble husband, Ashton. Ashton grew up with having to help his single mom raise his disabled brother, so he know’s how important health care is, and has an “old soul”.
I think it’s great they are out there reminding our youth to vote, because we’re worried about that

Hollywood feels guilty, sometimes for having so much and I think that’s why they vote Dem: Dem’s believe that those at the top should pay more taxes. I do too. I like the concept from the Bible< “he who is given much is required much”. I wish we could all have our own feelings, opinions without being heckled to death. I see so many mean words towards anyone who is for Obama. It’s a FREE Country!
That’s why we have 2 parties, so we can vote for the one that we feel is best, and sometimes that is based on the economy, war, international stage, etc. Our country has swung both ways, baby!
