Lily Allen is not letting her recent arrest for “allegation of assault” get her down.
The British songbird is set to make an appearance posing as pop rival Amy Winehouse on Britain’s Channel 4 ‘Friday Night Project’ tonight.
Young Lily has had a rough year so far. In addition to giving a harmless paparazzo a taste of her shoe, the 22-year-old songstress has had a public spat with Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole, an I’m-so-fat-and-ugly MySpace meltdown and an abandonned American tour that left thousands of fans disappointed.
All that and she’s still managed to stay out or rehab, skip out on jail and leave every strand of hair on her head.

I think it’s all quite funny. It’s easy to bray your opinion when you’re guaranteed anonymity–like on this blog, for example. Lily doesn’t have that luxury, but she’s only just saying things people are already thinking.
Although her inner censor could be a bit more finely tuned, I find her hilarious and refreshing. And I think she looks greaty parodying Amy. I just hope she’s got the right number of teeth blacked out…

i agree with black ..i really use to like lilly before she hit it kinda big in the states but now she just fucking sucks ..all she does is bitch and moan about shit that noone wants to fucking hear ..just shut the hell up lilly and go the fuck away or make better music …o and did anyone hear amys new video of tears dry own there own ?i loved it and i hope this song does good because its my fav on her cd
