Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi were among the many celeb faces who were seen arriving at the Yes! on Prop 2 party at a private residence in Los Angeles last night.
Taking a break from battling Proposition 8 — which proposes to rewrite the state Constitution so that it prohibits gay marriage — the celebrity newlyweds are also campaigning for California’s Proposition 2, which would ban the close caging of farm animals, including chickens, pigs and veal calves.
Ellen and Portia were the honorary hosts of the star-studded soiree which aimed to raise funds for the proposition.
“This issue is very dear to my heart,” Mrs. DeGeneres said in a statement Friday. “It makes no sense to confine animals in tiny cages their whole lives with no chance to stand up, turn around or extend their limbs.”
Other animal-loving celeb attendees included Olivia Wilde, Amy Smart, Catherine Oxenberg, Casper Van Dien, Emily Deschanel, Jennifer Coolidge and Heather Graham.

If I was Portia I would seriously consider firing her make up artist. I blew up the pics and the make-up on her left arm looks hideous. Ellen pretty face, ugly suit though.
