Riding high on a 5-year wave of sucess, the Dutchess was on hand to give back as she presented a check to Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital.
Next up musically, Fergie will go back into the studio with will.i.am and the rest of the Black Eyed Peas, firmly putting to rest any suggestion that her solo success means a permanent split.
Says the artist otherwise known as Stacey Ferguson: “We’re not fighting. Why wouldn’t I want to do more albums with the Peas? I love doing shows with them, and I love doing solo shows. Why would you want to give up one if you didn’t have to?”
As for who she credits for her achievements, it certainly has nothing to do with her hard work and resilience. “I really feel like God has been a huge part of my life, and I do believe that prayers work,” she says. “Something people might not know about me: I have a very close relationship with my higher power.”
