I’m not impressed with all the synthesizing. They always overload her songs with sound so you focus on that instead of the “singing” and lyrics. Plus she will never perform this live without lip syncing so I really think she just needs to pack it up and stop trying. She gets plenty of money from the royalties of her other albums. Focus on getting your kids and stop trying to make “music.”

Unlike her previous stuff which was manufactured but still a bit catchy, this one just outright sucks. I’d totally turn the station if this was playing on my car radio.

The first time I heard it I didn’t love it. But after a couple of listens I am hooked! It’s a very catchy chorus for sure and I can see it being a huge hit! It reminds me a lot of the song Ooh Ooh Baby that was on Blackout. Very similar verses. I would really like to hear her release a ballad again though where her voice isn’t so produced. She has got a good voice, she has sung live a number of times and you can hear that she can sing.
I feel like this is another ‘Me Against the Music’. It’s just a set up track for what’s to come. Me against the music was not a great track but it ushered in great hits like toxic from her In the Zone CD. So although this is catchy, it’s not her best. I await the other tracks.
Piece of Me and Gimme More was CRAP, too! What a shame she’s a has-been in her twenties but unfortunately there’s still a market for anything she puts out because she’s a tabloid star.
