NORRIS PUNCHED IN THE HEAD ONE TOO MANY TIMES

Chuck Norris is a proud Republican and he doesn’t care who knows!

“My choice would be John McCain and Sarah Palin mainly because with Sarah, I think she’s a strong lady. I think she’d make a good president because she’s a no nonsense gal and she has much more experience than Barack Obama,” he tells Extra. “Europe now is not infatuated with Barack Obama anymore. They are infatuated with Sarah Palin.”

As for this thoughts on Obama: “I think he has the country at heart, but I think he’s misdirected…and because of his misdirection, that he’s going to lead us down a very deep hole (if he gets elected.)”

And his thoughts on the whole Clinton vs. Obama thing? “I think Hillary (Clinton) would have been better.”

Chuck, known for busting some butt on TV, keeps it lightweight when it comes to his thoughts on the current president: “I know George W. Bush…I campaigned for him for president. Not saying he did a great job as president…I think he could have done a heck of a lot better job…”

What a fucking idiot. Good lord, have you seen her CBS interview with Katie Couric. Miss “I can see Russia from my house” isn’t fit to run a Kinko’s, let alone the United States of America. Chuck Norris is already a national punchline, who really takes his opinion seriously?

Oh, and I also love how now every Republican sings the praises of Hillary Clinton. When she was the front runner and what was thought a virtual shoe-in, they ripped her apart. How can a whole political party be made up of the most vile, lying, evil dirtbags imaginable?

What a fucktard. The Republicans have written more books about how horrible Hillary is than any other politician. Yet,now, now they all think she’s great. They only say this because they’re so terrified they’re about to loose the election. They hope if they push the Hillary factor that it will push people their way.
    Too bad thought!

    President Obama in ‘09!!

Well *he* may not care, but I’m sure the other Republicans do (the smart ones, at least). That was one dumb-ass comment.

5.”I am from Germany and no one in this country can understand how the great America could possibly consider someone for office who has her beliefs.”

I’m not surprised you have trouble understanding Palin’s beliefs—her stance against killing human fetuses, for example. German’s have proven very dramatically how their beliefs differ when it comes to honoring the sanctity of life and I think millions of Jews and Gypsies would agree.

Palin is a total tool. They sat her down with some foreign leaders for 20 seconds…it was nothing more than a photo op. Her husband, the dog musher private citizen, is referred to as the “shadow governor”…he gets carbon copies of her e-mails and he sits inn on meetings, So if McCain dies in office, guess who will be running the country….a salmon fisherman/dog musher!! BTW some have said it looks like McCain’s eye is drooping - is that why he wanted to cancel the debate? This guy is not healthy.

Cyrus, why are you so intolerant and hateful toward others who don’t share your personal worldview? Isn’t there room for diversity of opinion in this world? Oh, and before you insult the intelligence of others for not attending “universtiy”, perhaps you should learn how to spell.

I love how obsessed everyone is about Obama but not one Obama supporter I have EVER met can detail his economic policy plans or his national healthcare/ tax increase plans.

Really people. Its about the ISSUES, not the celebrity endorsement. At least McCain has actually participated during his time in the senate rather than just OCCASIONALLY show up to work.

  16. September-25-2008 @ 11:10 pm

12.”Palin is a total tool. They sat her down with some foreign leaders for 20 seconds…it was nothing more than a photo op.”–Lana

And how is that any different than when Obama went to Europe and met with foreign leaders? Does Obama’s insubstantial “photo op” meetings with European leaders also make Obama a “total tool”?

“Her husband, the dog musher private citizen, is referred to as the “shadow governor”…he gets carbon copies of her e-mails and he sits inn on meetings”

And again, how is that any different than when Hillary Clinton sat in on meetings while Bill Clinton was president and was actually put in charge of committees? Lana, are you intellectually honest enough to admit that you’re holding Palin to a double-standard you’re not willing to apply to democrats simply because you’re biased? I’m not asking liberals like you to put aside your socialist beliefs, I’m just asking you to be fair in your criticisms. Hypocrisy is soooo unattractive.

  17. September-25-2008 @ 11:18 pm

    7. “Too bad thought!
    President Obama in ‘09!!”–alewje

Two things “alewje”: 1) “Too bad thought!” is a completely nonsensical sentence. Though I can’t say I’m surprised that an Obama supporter would have trouble putting togethor a coherent thought. 2) The election is in ‘08 not ‘09. Though the country would certainly be better off if Obama supporters like yourself show up next year to cast your vote instead of November of this year.

Grow up. Be a responsible adult and vote McCain/Palin ‘08.

What’s worse, “Bea”? Cyrus’ obvious typo of “universtiy” or your using an apostrophe to pluralize “Germans”? Btw, way to Godwinize the thread. Do you bring up the Nazis every time you disagree with a German?

  19. hmm
    September-26-2008 @ 12:27 am

Bea, why do you feel the need to tell other people who to vote for? It’s fine that you support McCain/Palin but
that doesn’ make you smarter or more informed than someone who supports Obama. And to your point about ‘09′, perhaps you didn’t consider that the person was referring to the year that Obama would take office, which would be in January of 2009. I am a woman and would never support a candidate that favored forcing women and girls to have the children of their rapists, forced women to pay for their own rape kits when she was mayor, subverted an investigation into an ethics scandal, supported the bridge to nowhere before she was against it and yet kept the money, cannot name one achievement of John McCain, and is unable to form a coherent sentence that is grammatically correct. It is not endearing to hear a candidate for the Vice Presidency who is unable to clearly enunciate her words. I encourage all Americans to watch her interview with Katie Couric and then think about the safety of your children and your loved ones, and ask yourself, do you trust this woman with the economy or with national security. And if we want to discuss intellect, please remember that your candidate finished in the bottom 1% of his class and was considered a subpar officer in the Navy. And as for Palin, she attended four different colleges in six years. No thanks, I’ll go with the guys who are smart and have actually read the constitution. It’s amazing to me that after the damage the Republicans have done to this country, people like you act like everyone is stupid except you. I think eight years of this train wreck is quite enough and hopefully the majority of Americans will agree to send McCain back to the Senate and Palin back to Alaska.

    18. Congratulations, you found a typo. The difference is that I wasn’t going on a rant calling anyone who disagrees with me uneducated. Do you understand the difference? And no, I don’t reflexively bring up Nazis every time I disagree with a German. Only when they possess the temerity to lecture Americans on their beliefs, and in particular, those related to the preservation of human life. Snipe, you would do well to pay closer attention to context, though you lefties are so adept at quoting people out of it, aren’t you?

random europeans. i love hearing from people that come from epcot center. you guys have great food. and cool cars at some of your attractions/locations…but i don’t think we should really follow your advice on how to run the world just because you got your collective $#it together the past 20 yrs, just in time to be overrun and die out.
bea. exactly. even though we think they are misguided, obsessed with being loved, driven by emotion and live in a bubble–we think they usually mean well. they think we have evil intentions right from the get go, therefore they don’t have to listen to our side. if they did in a mature fashion, they wouldn’t be brainwashed libs for long…eventually, the truth will bash them in their pretzel brains. that’s why 99% of political transformations occur from the left to the right; not the other way around. hence the adage…’if you are under 30 and are conservative, you have no heart…if you are over 30 and liberal, you have no brain.’
so chill with the destruction of them or i’m going to stalk you and make you love me.

  23. September-26-2008 @ 1:47 am

    19. I’ll try to address each of your points. 1) I don’t claim to be “smarter or more informed than someone who supports Obama”. In fact, in one of my comments above, I criticized “Lana” for suggesting that anyone who votes for Palin is uneducated. But you didn’t feel the need to apply the same criticism to “Lana”, did you? 2) NO ONE refers to the year the candidate is going to take office vs. when they’ll be elected. That’s ridiculous. 3) The smear that Palin forced rape victims to pay for their rape kits has already been debunked. 4) I agree that Palin’s stance that rape victims not be allowed abortions is extreme, but certainly no more extreme than Obama’s votes allowing partial-birth abortions and denial of medical attention to birthed children that survive abotion attempts. Do you really want to get into a debate as to which is more cruel? 5) It’s disingenious to criticize Palin on the “Bridge to Nowhere” when Obama actually voted in favor of it. At least Palin eventually made the responsible decision. Obama didn’t. 6) Palin HAS indeed named achievements of McCain. True, she was unable to recall an additional specific piece of legislation in Couric’s trap question. But lets be honest. Biden can’t answer even one legitimate qualifying achievement of Obama’s. 7) As for your criticisms of Palin’s enunciation, I would encourage you to be more accepting of different regionally specific inflections. Obama often drops the ends of his words like a Chicago preacher, but I don’t see you criticizing him. Though I’m sure if someone else did, they’d quickly be accused of racism by Obama supporters on this blog. You know I’m right. 8) And finally, regarding your dig concerning McCain’s intellect, surely you realize the hypocrisy of that statement. In addition, if you’re going to make that argument then what does that say about Al Gore considering he dropped out of grad school? But of course, he’s a democrat so that’s different, right? Let’s just try to be respectful, fair and intellectually honest in our arguments.

Wow, Adam. As the bible says, which I’m sure you know being the staunch conservative that you are, pride cometh before the fall. This kind of tripe does not represent the feelings of most Americans, only the ones like you, the ones who spend all day being paid to troll for John McCain. All empires eventually fall. McCain/Palin in the white house will surely usher this in and complete the job that the Bushes started. I’m a real Christian so i’m not concerned. God takes care of his own. You and your cronies on the other hand, may God have mercy on your souls. Ugh.

Why should he know with who Europe is infatuated? I live in Switzerland which is pretty much Europe and in our country we wouldn’t trust Sarah Palin at all! We are laughing about her. The most people I know would vote for Obama because also we hope for a change. There are some people who don’t want to go to the US because of Bush; because they know how incompetent he is. Thanks for reading this!

Just in case anyone missed it…

COURIC: You’ve cited Alaska’s proximity to Russia as part of your foreign policy experience. What did you mean by that?

PALIN: That Alaska has a very narrow maritime border between a foreign country, Russia, and on our other side, the land– boundary that we have with– Canada. It– it’s funny that a comment like that was– kind of made to– cari– I don’t know, you know? Reporters–

    COURIC: Mock?

PALIN: Yeah, mocked, I guess that’s the word, yeah.

COURIC: Explain to me why that enhances your foreign policy credentials.

PALIN: Well, it certainly does because our– our next door neighbors are foreign countries. They’re in the state that I am the executive of. And there in Russia–

COURIC: Have you ever been involved with any negotiations, for example, with the Russians?

PALIN: We have trade missions back and forth. We– we do– it’s very important when you consider even national security issues with Russia as Putin rears his head and comes into the air space of the United States of America, where– where do they go? It’s Alaska. It’s just right over the border. It is– from Alaska that we send those out to make sure that an eye is being kept on this very powerful nation, Russia, because they are right there. They are right next to– to our state.

Bea: I have enjoyed reading your posts. It is nice to hear from someone else on here besides the few who will dare to go against the Obama cult and defend their beliefs.

Luella “I’m a real Christian”: I am guessing from your posts that you are an Obama supporter? If in fact that is true, being a “real Christian” how on earth do you defend his position on abortion? Knowing the bible as you do so well I do not have to tell you that throughout it clearly states that God know us before we are formed in the womb, and speaks about the punishment that should come to someone who causes the death of a baby in the womb. Just in case you missed any of these passages here they are for your reference. (Jeremiah 1:5, Psalm 139:13-16, Exodus 21:22-25)
If you think abortion is something that God is supporting, you may want to seek out a new church.

McCain and Obama are *both* smart and articulate. Palin, on the other hand, is not. Watching Palin bumble her way through the interviews has been literally cringe-inducing. I’ve seen zero evidence that she’d make a good VP, let alone a good president, and Chuck’s an idiot for saying otherwise.
    .
Having said that, choosing Palin as a running mate may turn out to be a brilliant move. She’ll win McCain a lot of votes from the religious demographic and that could be enough to put him in the WH. If that happens though, I’m sure there’ll be many Americans praying for his continued health every night.
    .
