First she was spotted getting frappuccinos at Starbucks. Then she was seen succombing to a Mac attack at a local McDonalds. And now photogs have snapped Britney Spears rocking a wig reminiscent of her more troubled days.
Is the pop star falling back into her old crazy habits?
Nah!! Britney was still in character as she emerged from a downtown building after a long day of shooting the video for her upcoming single, Womanizer.
The raven-tressed star’s entourage worked hard to try and shield her from the cameras before jumping into an SUV and driving away.
Whle we’re all itching to hear Brit’s comeback track, radio stations won’t be playing Womanizer until September 29 at the earliest because “the mix was not finalized.”
Circus is slated to come out on December 2nd, which is also her 27th birthday.

She looks so much like Gwen Stefani here! Not just the red lipstick…the whole look. I don’t think she looks too great but I think the video will be hot. She’s with her old management and everything and I think it will all be done properly this time around.
Ok — if she’s leaving after a long day of shooting her video, why wouldn’t she take the wig (and makeup) off before going out? She wants the attention. I think she’s getting pressured too soon to get back to the Britney that she once was, and she’s slipping back into her old ways to get the reassurance that she’s still “got” it.
I give it about 1/2 a month before she ends up barefoot in a dirty gas station bathroom again.
Sad.
