The girls of the new Beverly Hills 90210 were hard at work yesterday on the Long Beach, CA set of their hit CW show.
Taking turns on and off camera were skinny mini starlets Shenae Grimes, AnnaLynne McCord and Jessica Stroup.
Last week, one of the many tabloid mags polluting newsstands reported that some of the show’s co-stars were planning an intervention for two of the show’s waif-thin actresses.
Claimed one source: “I’ve never seen Jessica or Shenae eat.”
In an attempt to squash further eating disorder rumours, Shenae proudly paraded around the set with a styrofoam box full of food from craft services.
It’s nice to see the 18-year-old actress attempting to send a positive message, but what’s up with the nonbiodegradable packaging? That’s far more harmful than a few missed meals, if you ask us!

More than shenae grimes (who I think does look a lot like her on screen mom, Lori loughlin), Jessica stroup is really scary skinny. She’s a complete bobble head.
Perhaps he’s showing that she remembers that a fork gos into her mouth, rather than her finger. My guess is that the grapes and watermelon will be her sustenance for the day. The food in the styrofoam is for show.
She can be photograph with food, but did anybody see her eating it all? There are so many tricks to pretend one is eating…
110 bucks that box is full of dry lettuce. Watermelon is a diuretic too. Pleeeez. This is how you get skinny guys….i know newsflash….U DONT EAT.

Degrassi the next generation.. And now she is a big star… in Los Angeles..

She’s chewing on a plastic fork, not gorging on a cheeseburger! There’s no proof here that these girls eat. This picture is called “damage control”. Their agents handed them food containers and a fork and told them to make it look like they’re headed to lunch. Classic Hollywood smoke and mirrors.
Even fi she was filmed eating a greasy cheeseburger, she’s probably just puke it up. who is she kidding.She was never this skinny on Degrassi!
one of my family members is anorexic and everytime we have a familly event where food is involved she is always keeping herself busy so that she doesnt have to eat but then she will sit down and put the fork in her mouth with no food on it and twirl it around…like its fooling us or something. Anyways I have always thought it was the weirdest thing and these pictures just reminded me of that. annas always have tricks to make people think they are eating.
She is a very cute girl and not a bad actress–unfortunately she is about the only thing holding that lame show together.
Are you serious MikeC? Her acting is horrible. I don’t remember which episode I watched, but every time she was on screen, it looked like she was having an eye seizure.
Hey !! considering the type of show and the material she is working with she is doing a good job; she has a very expressive face and has a unique way about her. IMHO of course…..
She is not great, but she isn’t bad. I think it is the directors and producers that want her to act all cute and goofy with all the expressions. In the show Degrassi she was on, she did none of that. She played a much more serious role and won a Canadian acting award for it.
