Check out your first look at the poster going up in theaters next week for Tom Cruise’s new movie, Valkyrie.
After a slew of date changes and reshoots, the film that was once considered dead in the water is now an Oscar contender.
MGM Studios is making a hard push for the film, about a real-life assassination attempt on Adolph Hitler in the final months of World War II.
Valkyrie hits theatres December 26.

Not in the theatre, but I might see it since I once knew the daughter of one of the German men who conspired to kill Hitler.
I can’t wait. People really need to learn how to separate the messenger from the message (so to speak). TC irks me something serious and always has but I still love The Firm and Jerry McQuire and I have a feeling this is going to be a good flick.
I’ll make sure and miss it….

haters - it is a bryan singer/chris mcquarrie movie with tom and a huge cast. it’s going to be great - why wouldn’t it be. stop being such haters.

This film may tell us for certain if Tom can really act. The character he plays in this film was one hell of a guy in real life (major league hero) and it will be interesting to see if Tom can bring him to life again on screen.

The Firm and Jerry Maguire, Vanilla Sky, Risky Business, Top Gun, etc. will ALWAYS be iconic!
don’t you love the way they made him look “taller”…..his legs are only 12 inches…..must be using some huge ass lifts in those boots…..
