she was totally unprofessional. the other guys were funny. it doesnt matter if journalists dont like what the stories say… i dont see a journalist who is anti-war throwing a fit if they have to read something about president bush and the war. i dont know, maybe they arrange it so someone else reads that but still. she’s a journalist, she shouldn’t behave like she did. it’s not her news only, it’s the news for the rest of the country, and while others may share her opinion on not liking paris, still some people love her… deliver the news to them. let the people choose what they want to hear and what they won’t, but at least get the story out.

I don’t blame her at all. Even though I can’t stand MSNBC and their republican ways, I agree that Paris Hilton should NOT be the lead story on ANY news show!!!! She speaks for all us americans tired of too much Paris and wish she would go away for good!!!!!!!!!!

Bee- How does Paris count as news? She’s tabloid fodder, and that’s it. If they’re going to cover her short stint in jail, what about all those other people who are handed down sentences for breaking probations or committing DUIs? I commend Mika for refusing to go with the story. Mainstream journalism is diluted enough with superficial news, they don’t have to add more to it! Paris “news” has their time and place in gossip mags and blogs. Lets leave it to that ;).

Ann Coulter and Rush aren’t journalists and don’t claim to be. They make no qualms about their conservatism and, even though I hate their politics, they never try to mask their true agenda. I wish the same could be said for other popular news people.
