YOU BETTER GET A FIERCE PEDICURE!

Just when you thought Marc Jacobs’ backward heel at last year’s New York Fashion Week was back-breaking, check out the sole-less heels that just paraded down the runway at the Aminaka Wilmont show during London Fashion Week.

With Spring 2009 trends stomping down catwalks worldwide, it seems designers are complimenting, or even outdoing, their looks with wild and playful footwear that would make any shoe-lover shout.

Are these new shoe trends too over-the top or do they win best in show?

If nothing else, these shoes seem to be very practical for walking down the streets of any urine stained major city!

Those are only good to walk on a carpet and if lucky you don’t pin your toes with any random stuff, crazy shoes!

The fashion industry annoys me more than hollywood. Listening to Tyra Banks in ANTM makes me sick. They are not contributing a thing to society. This shit means nothing in the long run.

90% of the runway looks are not even supposed to hit stores or to wear on the streets, they’re more like a personal art of the designers so don’t take it too serious. It looks ugly i know but i don’t think he’s intending to make a big trend of out of it

bo’s right, this isn’t meant for commercial consumption. Jacobs is just playing with ideas. This look is ugly, sure, but maybe it’ll inspire new shoe designs in the future.

Also, point of clarification, the Chinese bound feet, not the Japanese.

They look weird, but that’s the idea - to shock people on the runway. They’re not meant to be sold to consumers or anything. Don’t take them too seriously!
