I think she has always been overrated as an actress! Her best part was in When Harry Met Sally besides that she is not that great.
I am big fan of hers!!! She still looks great and i like the fact that she has taken some time to get away from Hollywood and just travel. What a great life!
I’ve always liked her. I’m glad to see that she’s back. I wish she didn’t feel the need to “fix” her face - she was so cute to begin with. As far as Dennis Quaid, he’s a dog and she knew he had a major drug problem when she met him. From what I read, she refused to marry him until he cleaned up his act. He must have been quite a dog if she is admitting how he was unfaithful for a “long time” during their marriage.
Not sure it I like the cover, but It’s good to see she’s finally telling her side of the story in this interview! Sounds like her ex was not as innocent as he has pretended to be.
The Women may have not gotten good reviews, but I liked it anyway!
Oh no, talk is cheap. SHE cheated on quaid with Russell Crowe, and everyone knew it. She then went back to Quaid who took her back only to learn that she cheated on him again with that Gladiator guy. So she should just shut up.
MissJanet - And you know this how? Stop surmising and twisting it to make it look like she’s the whore. There are always two sides to every story. She’s given her side so let’s wait until Dennis gives us his side. People like you are so quick to judge and you think you know everything but you actually know f***k all. Until you tell me you’re the best friend of one of them and know exactly what happened, howsabout you shut up?
MissJanet, Meg Ryan never returned to Dennis Quaid. That story was made up by the gossipmedia because they didn’t realize she was still with Russell Crowe. In reality, Meg counterfiled for divorce when they were busy writing those stories.
Dennis cheated on her for a long period of time with several women during the last years of their marriage. She only cheated on him once and ended the marriage at the same time. What I really dislike in this story is how Dennis Quaid let her take the blame for eight years and never confessed to his own sordid role in their divorce. Be a man, Dennis: confess!
Let’s call Meg Ryan the next Denise Richards who won’t stop talking about her

Dennis never let her take the blame for this.. He said in interviews that their
marriage was in trouble before he all this happened.. The marriage broke down
and that they both moved on until now!!

Ellen, maybe you are right, but why would she let the press come up with such stuff if it weren’t true and why wouldn’t she talk about Quaids affairs right then? The Crowe affair and subsequent divorce cost her the carreer she had. She was a cheating wife and no longer Americas sweetheart. So - why is she talking about it only now?
She is talking about it only now because her son was too young at the time. That is what she said and I can understand her decision. But she knows now it was the wrong decision and should have spoken out sooner. Also her words.

DUh! Because he cheated on her for a long time BEFORE she met Russell Crowe. Please read the actual InStyle interview with more care. He should have protected his ex wife for his son’s sake, but instead he chose to play the innocent husband. Which he clearly was not. And don’t worry about her son, he lives with his mom these days and knows what really happened to his parents marriage.
I love these people who seem to know ALL about celebs’ lives. What does Meg Ryan do to you, Ellen, call you up everyday or is it a telepathic thingy going on?
I don’t know about his love life back in the days with Meg; Neither Meg nor Dennis called me to talk about it unlike some here who seem to be Chatty Cathy with Meg, evidently
I only know that having met Quaid when he was on vacation with Meg in Bali one year, I have to say that he is one of the nicest men I’ve ever met. Freindly, down to earth and a real gentlemen. Meg? Well let’s just say she was pretty and leave it at that. She is still pretty,. The plastic surgery insults are terrible. She does have in person, though, a real sense of entitlement.
Oh, and by the way, I’ve seen pis of Jack out wirh his dad many times, Ellen. Jack also accompanied his dad when Quaid testified before a congressional committee and was at his dad’s premiere the other night. Maybe he was supporting his dad in the fire of his mom’s latest accusations. Jack’s not in an enviable place, right now. Too bad, really.

And you know this how? Because Meg told you? I never heard any rumors about him cheating on her. I did hear about his drug problem…but never anything about cheating. That was Meg’s doing.
