PAM GETS CANDID (BUT LEAVES HER CLOTHES ON)

After spending the last week in London where she was promoting her new reality show, it was a camera-shy Pamela Anderson who was spotted arriving at LAX International Airport yesterday following a long transatlantic flight.

Before jetting off, the 41-year-old pin-up did an extensive interview with Britain’s Daily Mail where she opened up about everything from her many divorces to her many boob jobs.

Here are a few highlights:

Pamela Anderson on owing her career to her famous breasts: “Apparently, I’ve nicknamed my breasts Pancho and Lefty. But that’s just not true, sadly. In the flesh, I don’t think they’re that magnificent at all, but something happens when they appear on screen – it’s like they expand or something. But that’s it for them now, I think. I wouldn’t get anything done to them again, because I tend to think about my health a lot more now than I ever did before. When I first got a boob job it was because everyone else was getting theirs done, and I didn’t put a great deal of thought into the whole process. Then I got the implants removed after my divorce (from Lee) in a kind of ‘I’ll show him’ way, except I really missed them myself, so I put them back in. But all in all, I’d say they’ve had a pretty good career. I’ve basically been tagging along for the ride.”

Pamela on her scariest fan moment: “I was on a beach in Uruguay when suddenly hundreds of men – not just boys – had me surrounded. I had my own security, but it wasn’t enough for such a big crowd. My blouse got torn off and I was hit on the head by a rock, and for a moment I thought I wasn’t going to get away. One of my security guys covered me with his body and got me back to our car, and I think he saved my life, because I’m not sure what would have happened if I’d stayed out there a few more minutes.”

Pamela on a possible Baywatch remake: “I just won’t do it. I hate remakes of TV shows – I didn’t like the new Charlie’s Angels at all – and I just don’t see the point of going back and doing the same thing over again. Baywatch was fun and successful, probably because we didn’t know what the heck we were doing.”

Pamela on being banned from the Oscars: “I’m still not entirely sure, but since it’s unlikely they’re ever going to give me a statuette, it’s not really a problem. I showed up at the Vanity Fair Oscar party with Liz Hurley (in 2001) and people were surprised because they didn’t know we were friends. I was wearing a pretty open shirt and a short skirt to that party and some people were giving me looks, but (the director) John Waters gave me a standing ovation. I live for moments like those.”

Pamela on never seeing her sex tape with Tommy Lee: “I see more than enough of Tommy as it is. I can’t get rid of him. A bunch of creepy men made a lot of money from me and that tape, so I figured I should get in on the act and film myself. Which is how I came to be doing my new show. It’s a documentary of my life and focuses on my work and travel, and really captures my spirit. I love having cameras around and I’m a real exhibitionist, in case you couldn’t tell. Shower scenes were fine; the only thing off-limits was my kids. There was no way I wanted them to be on camera. But the show has a real Sixties vibe and was shot on 16mm and Super 8. Unlike that tape.”

She is STILL in great shape after all these years–good genes–and, you know she does not seem to be all that dumb when you read her interviews. A tip of the hat to Pam….

I think she’s great! She’s not afraid to just talk about things and I don’t think she ever really has a hidden agenda with what she’s saying. She’s funny as well! I think she looks great here as well, her body is looking incredible!
