It was the night of The Fey at the 60th Primetime Emmy Awards.
Tina Fey won three trophies at tonight’s star-studded show.
She beat out Christina Applegate, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, America Ferrera and Mary-Louis Parker to take home the Best Actress in a Comedy Series prize.
Among her thank-yous: “I want to thank my parents for somehow raising me to have confidence that is disproportionate with my looks and abilities. Well done, that is what all parents should do.”
She was then awarded the Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series award for her work on 30 Rock. “I absolutely share this with every member of the writing staff of 30 Rock,” Tina told the audience as she took the podium. “I’m very proud to be a writer. I would not have any of the other jobs that I have if I had not been a writer first.”
Miss Fey capped off her trifecta for trophies by snagging the Outstanding Comedy Series prize, again for 30 Rock.
Said the golden girl: “We are all grateful to have jobs in this turkey burger economy.”

She is SO funny! I’m very happy for her!!!
“Turkey burger economy”? What the fuck does that mean?
Over-rated.
Tina Fey is so talented and funny!
I have watched 30 Rock several times and I guess I just don’t get it–I don’t care for the show at all.
