RICKLES-GRIFFIN 2008!

The 60th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards are turning out to be a veritable snoozefest.

One of the few highlights came when Kathy Griffin and Don Rickles hit the stage.

Said Kathy: “The world hasn’t seen a pairing like this since John McCain and Sarah Palin.”

We loved that Rickles was all old-school and wouldn’t be rushed to reading the nominations for best reality program.

The award went to The Amazing Race (it’s sixth win in a row) for the handful of you who care.

    I always cringe when Don Rickles gets the mic — you never know what’s going to happen. But he deserves the kudos he gets and more — he’s a living legend. The last of a rapidly dying breed.
