Struggling-for-sales rockstress Kelly Clarkson dropped by The Plaza in New York City today to tape a mini concert for CBS’s ‘The Morning Show’.

Kelly angry kiss-off track ‘Never Again,’ from her new disc ‘My December,’ was reportedly inspired by musician David Hodges. Now Hodges, a former member of the band Evanescence, is firing back. At his website, davidhodges.info, a recent posting says “‘Just A Little Girl’ … is a rebuttal to a single by a former idol currently on the radio.” Sample lyric: “Go ahead and bat your eyes and lie right to the world/for in everything you are you’re just a little girl/I never meant for you to feel this way/but Decembers were never meant to be our graves.”

    to e completely honest, DAvid Hodges should never sing. He just doesn’t have anything to it, it’s way too ordinary.
    Second, I always hate when a guy says “Yeah I dumped you coz I had my demons ya know?” What the hell?
    Let’s see, she says: He got back to his ex (OK not in the song but that is what happened) - NA lyrics: he wrote only a letter to her to tell her after evryone else knew already and she knew already, and he DID tell he lost his way
    He says (in “Just a little girl” : He had his demons. He didn’t want to hurt. gagaga he calls her a little girl who’s lying. Nothing is in the song.
    If he was standing before court and that would be his speech to save his life he’d go straight to hell.
    But oh, feel sorry for the poor guy since HE HAD HIS DEMONS o gosh, poor David.
    Now David you better shut up please.
    Also because he posted on EVERY damn website of his (there are 3 or 4) that he wrote that mediocre song.
    And he posted everywhere, it’s to the original idol, or ‘I don’t want to name but it’s to the Idol I worked for’ etc… DAVID HODGES SEEKS PUBLICITY.
    That is the truth. His band is struggling, his voice is so mediocre and ordinary and let’s face it: BORING.
    It seems like Kelly Clarkson’s in a drama period an he wants to benefit from that. Add one more to her struggles, will get his name out and get him his 15 minutes of fame - since he left Evanescence way too soon to capitalize enough from their fame. Most ppl don’t even know he was in that band.
    I just couldn’t believe when I first heard the song on myspace and read the responses that people thought this song was cleverly written, and they called it a good song and an intelligent response.

    SHE NEVER LISTENS AND THROWS TEMPER TAMTRUMS TO GET HER WAY…IS NOT THAT CLIVE DAVIS PUT HER DOWN FOR BEING A WOMAN…HE PUT HER DOWN FOR BEING IMMATURE AND CHILDISH!!!

    SHE TOOK THE CRITICISM AND TRIED TO GET PUBLICITY OUT OF IT…BUT IT FAILED CAUSE THE ALBUM IS SHIT…..100% SHIT….

    BUT I’M SURE ALL THE ANGRY LESBIANS OUT THERE AND THE WOMEN SCORNED WILL LOVE IT!
