Tina Fey was seen touching down at Los Angeles International Airport yesterday.

The actress, writer, comedian and all around renaissance woman is in town for the 2008 Primetime Emmy Awards as a nominee for her hit show 30 Rock.

Meanwhile, NBC has just announced that Oprah will show up on 30 Rock’s second episode, airing November 6. Lady O filmed her role at the Silvercup studios in New York City last week.

Says Tina in a statement: “Oprah is very funny in the episode and we are beyond grateful to have her. Also, I would like to announce that we are officially best friends.”

Oprah’s other BFF, Gayle King, tells New York magazine that Oprah is “a hoot,” on the show. “Oprah and Tina together: Hilarious. H-I-L-A-A-A-R-I-O-U-S.” When told that’s not how you spell hilarious, she replied: “H-I-L-A-A-A-R-I-O-U-S. Lots of A’s. That was done deliberately for emphasis.”
