Katie Holmes was spotted leaving her Manhattan apartment earlier today and looking trendy in a grey scoopneck top underneath a black metro jacket with distressed jeans and a pair of black flats.
Speaking of fashion, it seems Katie has helped luxury denim brand Prps sell out their latest collection of lifestyle denim called Boyfriend jeans. According to a report, Katie’s favourite style flew off shelves before Prps even officially launched their women’s line. Prps creative director Donwan Harrell even credits the Dawson’s Creek darling with inspiring the idea for the line, as a result of her tendency to wear her husband Tom Cruise’s jeans.
“It’s a refreshing alternative to the skinny jeans,” he told press.

Well at least Katie is being recognized as something other than Tom Cruise’s wife. I hope her play does well and she gets out of this professional rut that she is in.
I always like Katie before she became Tom’s wife. But I just dont see her as any kind of style icon or anything like that. I just see the average girl from Ohio.
