Despite a rocky album launch, Kelly Clarkson hit up the ABC ‘Good Morning America’ Summer Concert Series today to perform her (hit?) song ‘Never Again’ along with some of her older classics like ‘Since U Been Gone’ and ‘Because of You.’
The former ‘American Idol’ champ’s third album is being released just as she’s in the middle of a battle with her label.
Needless to say, it’s overshadowing sales and reviews.

I really like Kelly. Even though I don’t like the first song, I hope her album does well. She works really hard, and seems grateful for everything that has happened to her.
I saw her on TV this morning and I thought she did good. I just HATE the style of clothes where you wear jeans that look too small and a shirt too small and your body hangs out in the middle. I’m sure she’s proud of her body and she can show it off, but can you do it in clothes that fit?!
she definitely needs help dressing for her body type. I don’t think she’s fat per se, but the clothes she wears makes her look heavier.
I try and teach that to the little girls I hang with (they are 10 now- and it’s for WORK people- lol)
know your body, and wear what looks good on it. Don’t buy into trends if it doesn’t work with your body. Be proud of your figure, and make it work.
Just because I had a fucked up body image most of my life, doesn’t mean they have to- if anything, I want to spare them that. There are more importanat things to worry about.
I agree, parissucksliterally. She seems very grounded and I hope she maintains that and kicks ass in this business for years to come. However, I also agree with Barks that outfit is unfortunate. Not very flattering. I like that she’s not a stick (she’s a curvacious woman and always will be) but she has to start learning how to dress so that her clothes flatter her figure.

HOLY CRAP! what the hell happened? she had so few fans show up, there was like nobody there, Hannah Montana had one of the biggest crowds they’ve ever had, Kelly had what a couple hundred? That can’t be good news for her at all.
She looked good though, Her hair style just doesn’t flatter her round face, she looks better when it’s shorter.IMO.
How is Sober and Never Again doing on Radio? I’ve been hearing sad things about it. Is it true?

heck- Hannah Montana is a freak phenomenon. She sold out the first Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo this year, way before big names like George Strait & Reba McEntire (rodeo favorites). Tickets were being scalped for 2500 a piece!

Its a Tuesday and its Good Morning America, I think she drew a pretty good crowd and there were plenty of audience people that new the lyrics to her new songs.
I live her music and deserves success even if it means a huge struggle with the label. That said, homegirl picked up some pounds during her break. Her body was looking really good on her last tour and she even had muscle definion. And now the tour being cancelled, is just bad news for her body. But hey if she’s happy, I’m not hating.

she can’t help being a nascar broad, and her music is good, and her face is really attractive, and such, but why can’t she get a nutritionist and a trainer and get toned? i know i’m coming off like an ass, but if this was britney or jessica, every post would say “FATASS” … so just because kelly clarkson became famous on a tvshow for ordinary people and not through years of parental pressure doesnt mean we shouldnt keep her honest…
yeah, i like my celebs looking freakishly beautiful, so i’d like her body to be fit and toned, but she has a great voice; i just saw a special with her and reba, and man, that girl can SING!
Bottom line is Kelly Clarkson looks more like the rest of us than any of those other skinny celebrity bitches. I really like Kelly and I love the fact that she just doesn’t give a shit. Good for her.

I’m all for people being healthy but from all appearances she doesn’t have a health problem. She’s average and will never be a skinny girl. She likes her curves so why should she see a nutritionist and trainer? If she’s happy, I’m happy.
JC - the difference is that Britney and Jessica were both marketed “face first” - it was a “look at this hot chick who can kinda sing” deal. Kelly can actually sing, and has never tried to market herself as a Barbie doll emulator.
