BRAD AND ANGIE START ZAHARA CENTER

Many parents want their kids to go into the family business, and Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are really trying to ensure that will happen for their brood. But they’re not talking about show business.

The couple announced today that they’ve donated $2 million to build a center to help fight HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis in Ethiopia. It will be named after Zahara, their 3-year-old daughter. “It is our hope when Zahara is older she will take responsibility of the clinic and continue its mission,” Brad said in a statement.

Maddox already has a center named after him. The Maddox Chivan Children’s Center in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, has been open since February 2006.

it’s great they are setting up these centers, but what happened to letting your children decide for themselves what they will do when they grow up? Maybe Zahara and Maddox will have dreams of their own .. Forcing something down your kids throat (whatever it may be, even if it is something great like these centers) can be damaging. I hope the kids have a choice in the path they follow.

LOL at Maddox falling asleep on Brad’s shoulders. Cute. They are a cute family, I just don’t care much for Angelina, her whole image is annoying.

I don’t know how anyone can say anything nasty about this couple!! The things they have done for charity are just wonderful and adopting three of their children is one of the best things they could have done. Who knows where they would have been now if it wasn’t for Brad and Ange. If anyone has seen the movie Beyond Borders you will know just how much places like Ethiopia need clinics like this. They need all the help they can get.
