LOHAN RANTS ON PALIN…AGAIN

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson are sick and tired of Sarah Palin.

In a joint MySpace blog post, the lovers rail on the Republican vice presidential nominee for some of her controversial views — namely her stance on homosexuality.

Here are some highlights:

I couldn’t be more supportive of a woman in office, but let’s face it, it comes down to the person, and their beliefs, male or female.

Is it a sin to be gay? Should it be a sin to be straight? Or to use birth control? Or to have sex before marriage? Or even to have a child out of wedlock?

Hmmmm-All of this gets me going-Fear, Anxiety, Concern, Disappointment, and Stress come into play…

Is our country so divided that the Republicans best hope is a narrow minded, media obsessed homophobe?

Palin’s Desire to “save and convert the gays”-really??

According to this Associated Press story, the church of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is hosting a kind of conference devoted to the “conversion of Gays” — no kidding.

I feel it’s necessary for me to clarify that I am not against Sarah Palin as a mother or woman.

Women have come a long way in the fight to have the choice over what we do with our bodies… And its frightening to see that a woman in 2008 would negate all of that.

Oh, and…Hint Hint Pali Pal- Don’t pose for anymore tabloid covers, you’re not a celebrity, you’re running for office to represent our, your, my COUNTRY!

And in the words of Pamela Anderson, “She can suck it”…

LilLo and SamRo conclude with some individual parting words.

Lindsay- “I have faith that this country will be all that it can be with the proper guidance. I really hope that all of you make your decisions based on the facts and what feels right to you in your heart-vote for obama!”

Samantha- “I love this country- however i wasn’t born here and don’t have the right to vote- so i beg of you all to really do your research and be educated when you cast your vote this coming november…. and if you’re in doubt- vote for obama! Mainly because if she gets elected my green card probably won’t get renewed!!!”

With all the anti-gay, abstinence only, no-sex-before marriage, anti-abortion bullshit the Repbulicans are talking, I have to wonder whey they are so against muslims. They talk like hardcore fundamentalists themselves.

You are 100% right. Because of this I’m so scared for this country. I think Lindsay and Samantha are brave.

I didn’t know Sam wasn’t a citizen. How long has she been here and what the hell is stopping her from becoming one?

Lindsay you dumb bitch, Palin is not the only one that graces the covers of magazines, Obama has graced more magazines then I can count. Get your facts stright before you babble on about stuff when you don’t even make sense.

  5. Republicans Out !!
    September-14-2008 @ 1:24 pm

Those republicans that see something “valuable” in palin fail to see further than their own hopes for a “model”. Childlike mentality of a leader that represents arrested, hold up, set back mentality of republicans. It is clear that Republicans use the huge population of not highly educated rural folks as their troy horse to then impose on america the most evil policies on economy where only a few corporate interest get ahead. The republican base is always charmed with the allure of cowboys and guns( like in wtf), and moralistic bed rituals, rather than with the issues that really impact society’s development. They are a bunch of retrograde individuals confused by their own idols, paying attention to an aggressive yet totally EMPTY spiel they call ideology.
Orthodox Bible people, following easy legends to fulfill their destiny…dangerous for human development. But having egotism as the ruling principle of the republican mentality, that’s to expect.

    lindsay,
only celebrities like yourself can be on the cover of a magazine? and what are you a celebrated for, exactly?
you could have been a movie star with your looks and acting skills, but now you are a celebrity because you wasted it all and that is interesting.and it’s also interesting that you went to rehab three times in one year and to jail for a few minutes and you always wear leggings and your parents are effed in the head. and people are fascinated that you want to have sexy times with samantha.
if you are allowed to have your political opinions, then ms palin certainly can be on the cover of a magazine. i remember something about you wanting to help gore and he laughed at you. maybe the democrats dont want your help.

the great think about republicans is their answers: totally dumb shit, even funny! MAybe they should choose
a shooting clown as president…wait It is already in the white house, and the clown has destroyed economy, education, foreign affairs, security, justice, human rights, agriculture, science like no other! The best reason to choose another republicans! Let’s keep the discussion abut the dumb fuck of palin, like we are all in high school, like there is nothing else to pay attention to: the best republican strategy!

They sound like a bunch of schoolgirls trying to sound educated. They have every right to their views and I think some of their points are valid but celebrities as a whole need to stop pushing people to vote for Obama.
The fact that they said ‘If in doubt, vote Obama!’ is wrong. People need to educate themselves on all candidates and make their decisions based on that alone, not on whether they can get bloody Samantha Ronson to keep her green card! I completely agree with you as well Anna, well said!

People on this board need to get a sense of humour..the comment about the greencard was so obviously a joke. Sam is british, and brits have a wry sense of humour that unfortunatly americans don’t always get, so just chill… I am no great lover of Lindsay Lohan but she has as much right as anybody to voice her opinions regardless of her past antics. You can take it or leave it but why do you really feel the need to insult her on a personal level? To me that is what seems kind of unintelligent. It’s like people think they know these celebrities based on what they have read in a gossip mag and belives that it puts them in the high and mighty position of making some sort of big moral judgement.

I commend Samantha Ronson and Lindsay Lohan for taking a little time to blog about their personal beliefs regarding Sarah Palin and the current political race taking place… whether you choose to avail yourself with their views or find yourself diametrically opposed to what they believe, everyone is entitled to voice their opinion and that’s precisely what Samantha and Lindsay did in their unanimous blog.

This country is on the precipice of change no matter what the outcome of the upcoming election… we are at a most interesting time in this country with the Democratic and Republican nominees each set to make their marks in the history books!

The first and most important thing is that everyone that is eligible to vote do so come election day. The second thing is that, as is always the case with politics and the inevitable mud slinging that comes with it, we as voters must for ourselves attempt to wade through this mud and make a concerted effort at getting to the truth and voting for whom we believe will ultimately be the best person to lead this country!

Lindsay is a smart, smart cookie. And her political commentary is about 500 times more insightful than that offered up by the traditional news media. Come on, Fox News? CNN? These people wouldn’t call a spade a spade if their lives depended on it. Lohan is just saying what everybody knows — the McCain/Palin ticket is bigot city.

Mr. Obama should be living in a roon full of mirrors so he can see and kiss himself everyday.I like the part of Obama and Biden together all the time on the trail. Then Obama will have to do all the talking when Biden gets to drunk. We do live in a sad and pathetic country when people can even let a man with nothing to show what he has done for this country even be able to run for Presidency. The right one was elected but the wrong was was selected. The Undemocratic Party is gone to me.

  21. Imagery.
    September-15-2008 @ 10:43 am

Never forget imagery and its powers. Loved the stadium with the Greek columns at your acceptance speech. Try to use stadiums more often, but with spotlights ringing the stadium like pillars of light pointing up into the infinity of space. Always look up, as if you see farther than us, and see things we cannot see. Your image is so inspiring, get your picture everywhere, from fake dollar bills to fake Presidential seals. Get banners made with your image on them and hang them everywhere. It worked for Stalin; it will work for you. Take down those pictures of Che in your campaign offices and replace them with pictures of you. All Obama, all the time. The undecideds love looking at you.

Keep letting the people know that if they don’t vote for you they are isolating themselves from the world. The world wants you as President of the US. Russians would vote for you. Eighty percent of the French would vote for you. You are favored by Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez, Muammar Qaddafi, leaders of Hamas and the Communist Party USA. I’m not yet sure what Robert Mugabe’s take on you is, but it wouldn’t hurt to seek his endorsement. You are the Candidate of the World; let it show.

  23. The Ad Game
    September-15-2008 @ 10:49 am

As an independent voter, I have never watched political ads (which is very hard to do - they’re everywhere). I don’t watch because I know they’re all lies. Does anyone actually believe what is said in political ads? Or does anyone actually have the time to find out if what is said is true or not? Sorry, I have better things to do - so it’s just easier to assume they’re all lies. I would much rather listen and watch interviews, debates and speeches from the candidates themselves to get real information about candidates.

Also, I know the Obama campaign thinks they have an ace in the hole linking McCain to Bush. But, quite frankly, because every Democrat politician and pundit, when talking about this election, talks mostly about Bush,(Bush’s third term, Bush’s failed policies, Bush, Bush Bush) I link Bush more with them. Their obsession with him is quite sad.

  24. As I Recall-
    September-15-2008 @ 10:50 am

The economy was going great guns. The Dow hit 14,000 for the first time, inflation was low and gas prices were bearable.

Then the Democrats took control of congress and it all turned to goat squat.

So the question isn’t whether we can stand eight more years of presidential policies but whether we can bear two more years of the current congress.

    Um, Hell No!

  25. Obama And Sex
    September-15-2008 @ 10:51 am

Take a look at the Illinois Senate Bill he supported. It lowered the sex ed age to include kindergarten and did not call for “age appropriate” education, it called for education on sexually transmitted diseases, including contraception. The McCain ad is, in this case, 100% accurate.

  26. Pesky fatcs...
    September-15-2008 @ 10:52 am

Barack Obama is one of the top four politicans in Washington who received campaign donations from Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae in the past 8 years and he’s only been there for 2! Chris Dodd, Hillary Clinton and John Kerry were the other three. Mostly Democrats were on that list of the top 25, including Nancy Pelosi, but John McCain was not.

Obama has ZERO executive experience, he has only been in Wash for less than two years, and since that time, the economy TANKED under Democratic leadership.

At least McCain issued a statement dealing with regulation reform and did not point partisan fingers in blame.

Barack Obama is a child emotionally, everyone else has to tell him what to do, he never even held a real job or ran anything in his life. He is a BS’er, an immature finger pointer, and CHANGE WE DON’T NEED.

Young people were responsible for this housing crash by buying homes they could not afford and had no business being in, Californians were the worst, and now they are trying to throw out govt in a tailspin because they “hate” Bush and are blaming all their decisions on him. NOBODY HELD A GUN TO THEIR HEADS. GET REAL!!!
