Britney Spears (in the green shirt) threw a joint monster truck-themed birthday party for her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, at a friend’s Los Angeles home yesterday.
Friends and family, including Britney’s sister Jamie-Lynn (in the white shorts and black shirt) and their mom Lynne Spears (black shirt) attend the party. Also present was Brit’s father and conservator Jamie Spears who beat the heat dressed in all white.
Amongst the many balloons, Sean and Jayden were be seen riding around the yard on their red Big Wheel.
When recently speaking with OK! magazine, Britney said of her plans for the bash: “I want to have a traditional party. I have some friends with kids who I am going to invite.â€
Celeb attendees included Jenny McCarthy with her son Evan and Kingston Rossdale. But the guests of honour seemed to be having the best time as they drove around the party in mini motorized cars, which were customized Ed Hardy by Christian Audigier. The cars featured tattoo-inspired decals, Ed Hardy air fresheners and personalized license plates. To keep with the party’s theme, the cake was in shape of a yellow truck.
Preston turns 3 on September 14 and Jayden turned 2 on September 12.

OMFG - I honestly can’t believe how the other half live! I’ve never in my life seen such a big house. The wealth of celebs makes me feel a little sick! and YES I’m extremely jealous……. A hot dog stand at a two and three year old b’day party with staff! OMG again.
FYI, my mom’s friend won a mustang on The Price is Right in the 80s so take your goddamn theater-style popcorn maker and shove it up your ass.

God Britney isn’t the only celebrity who throws big birthdays for her children? She’s got the money to do it, so why not? I’d rather see her spending her money on her little boys than on herself. It seems like now that Britney is getting her life back on track and doing worthwhile things that people are still out to bring her down and find fault in what she’s doing. She’s looking great, she’s working on a new album and she’s spending more time with her family and her sons. I’m sorry but I see nothing wrong with that. The only thing I see wrong about this is the fact that there were helicopters taking photos of a children’s birthday party. Creepy and really scary.
Actually….this doesn’t look like Britney’s house. This is not a Malibu home I don’t think, I know that sounds weird but it looks more like something that would be in Bev Hills. From the photos I’ve seen of her at her house before, this doesn’t look like it. Is it possible she was holding it somewhere else?

And just how is she getting her life back on track? Because she throws a party, organized by her carers, helpers, staff, assistants, caterers and other people that money can buy? She does have money, you know. Working on an album does not prove a thing. She has been “working on an album” for the most part of the last two years and none of it got her life back on track.
Wait for a year or two after the conservatorship is over and then we can talk if her life got back on track or not.

I’m mostly amazed by the fact that she had 2 kids within less than 1 year. Me and my sister are 14 months apart and that’s almost like being twins when you grow up, so these two boys will hopefully have a very close relationship. Also, I think it’s a lot of stress on the body to give birth to 2 kids that close.
Sorry Stephi. Gwen Stefani had 2 kids that close, and Heidi Klum had 3 kids that close. It didn’t put any stress on THEIR bodies.

Cal: I think she’s made huge improvements compared to when she was constantly on the move with that paparazzi boyfriend, going around between gas stations and shops as a maniac… not to mention when she shaved her hair off and attaced the papz with an umbrella. She was clearly unfit fo have costudy of her children back then.
Of course we don’t know if she’s on the right track now, seen in the long run. If she has a mental illness it might come back, or if she’s just stupid and goes back to her old ways cause she likes them, that will also show in time. But right now I think she really does her best to be a good mother and I think a lot of mothers would like to throw a party like this one for their sons if money was no problem.
(And by the way if a friend does you a favour it doesn’t mean you’re “skanking” them…)
Cal: yeah but have you ever noticed how some people have it very easy with their body, weight and everything (I’m one of those people, never dieted a day in my life and if I exercise it gives results in 1 week, eaily seen since I’m very thin) while others have to think of what they eat all the time and it takes forever for them to get results when they want to slim down?
And by the way, I was talking generally about the female body, not defending Britney. I believe women like Hiedi Clum and Gwen Stefani are among those people who don’t gain weight easily. Do you remeber what Gwen looked like when her band (los the name, sorry) got their breakthrough? She had a boyish body.

What were the other kids doing as her little ones were riding around in their customized Ed Hardy cars? That was very self-centred of her to have it for her kids but no others….by the way I think those motorized kids cars are unnecessary. Good old fashioned tricycles are the way to go or BiG Wheels where kids actually use their gross motor skills…
