Madonna was seen departing at a private gym in London today, a day after playing the London leg of her Sticky and Sweet world tour.
The queen of reinvention was looking tired and haggard as she headed down the steps following a 2-hour workout.
Meanwhile, it appears we now know what was behind Gwyneth Paltrow and Kate Hudson’s smug smiles last night as they watched the Material One do her thing on stage. The two actresses were among the many who were let down by poor sound quality at Wembley Stadium.
Madonna message boards were inundated last night with complaints.
Here a just a few examples:
- “The sound for those of us in the seated areas was very, very poor… During a number of the songs being performed, people around me were discussing the price of bread - really.”- “So many people were leaving before even halfway through the show. Near me there were a few boos and people losing interest… At times you would see her mouth move and the sound a few seconds later… at times we couldn’t even hear what song it was she was playing.”
- “The sound was terrible, we were sat in block 527 and we could not hear half of the songs, the baseline drowned everything out, absolutely the worst concert I have been to. There were riots going on outside our block as people couldn’t see the show and couldn’t hear the lyrics.”
- “Spent most of the evening lining up to sign the complaints book as the staff could do nothing.”
What’s more? Madonna didn’t arrive on stage until 40 minutes later than planned, which caused problems with some fans getting rail connections back into central London. Though we doubt Kate and Gwynnie were part of that crowd.

seems there is a lot of negative press about this tour, sad especially considering the prices they charge for tickets to this show.
and her being late onstage is nothing new, she seems to have done that the past few tours. maybe she’s just loves to get the audience hyped waiting for her???
I mean does she have to work out everyday?? You are already way too skinny…stay home eat some food. She just looks gross to me these days.
I agree with Mindy. I tried to go her concert in San Francisco a few years back and the cheapest tickets were $300. For good seats maybe. She is a greedy bitch and has lost her relevence.
I am still a fan and if there were problems with the sound, she has nothing to do with that and I sure she will be firing some people today!!
Hopefully this is her last tour. Being a pop star has a shelf life and hers has definitely exired.
What do these people expect? It’s not as if Madonna can actually sing. They are better off not being able to hear her. She is so over it’s pathetic.

I was already in my early 20s when she arrived at the scene in 1984. No matter what you may think of her, most of you don’t remember a world without Madonna being THE pop star in it. I do - and let me tell you, the world sucked, sucked and SUCKED without her.
So Madonna is responsible for the sound on her tour now? Interesting, I always thought that’s what all the other workers were for.
That’s terrible. Madonna is obviously not responsible for the sound on the tour, but a production that big should be tested over and over to make sure that everyone can hear the show. I would definately be demanding my money back. I really hate it when performers are really late coming on stage though, it’s unprofessional in my opinion.
Remember folks—Madonna could never sing very well and her stuff always had lots of electrical enhancement and tons of dancing and sexy costumes but she really could never sing worth a shit–she does, however, know all there is to know about putting on an exciting show……but now she is just a skinny 50 year old woman trying to hang on—-very sad thing to witness.

Mike C you are so right and dont forget she could never dance either, the world was a much better place without her to me and janet was a way better dancer and looker and i can name a million and one more better singers than her…. now like Mike C said she is a skinny washed up 50 year old woman whp should be home taking care of her kids,, in sure they will be out of hand after her!
naybe she could save her marriage if she acted more like a grown 50 year old ibstead of a sex starved teenager…. she works out yes but at her age it looks awful she needs some meat on those bones she looks like the tales of the crypt!
