JESSICA TALKS TONY, TONY, TONY

Jessica Simpson dropped by the NYC set of The Late Show with David Letterman last night to promote her new country album, but conversation was all about her highly publicized relationship with NFL star Tony Romo. From his big appetite for food (among other things) right down to his smelly old jock.

Here are some highlights:

Jessica on how long she’s known beau Tony Romo: “We’ve been dating since last November. We met each other last summer. We met in Louisianna on the set of a movie that I was doing.”

Jessica on their first date: “The first date was amazing. We went to dinner and just chatted it up. I think we both had a filet. Well, actually he had like five filets. Those football players can eat!”

Jessica on the “jinx drama” surounding her and the Dallas Cowboys: “I really think it’s because I was wearing a pink No. 9 jersey and not a blue one. So far I’ve been wearing blue, and they’re doing great. I’ll never wear a pink one again!”

Jessica’s cheeky response regarding questions about Tony’s football prowess: “I think Tony always performs well.”

Jessica on football players and cups: “You know, I don’t think they wear cups. Do you know about that? Like, I know they wear a jockstrap. That’s not a cup, is it? Sometimes it feels like you can see…like…you know? Like if you look really close? Ok, maybe I’m just guilty of looking really close. Oh, no his parents are going to see this! I get all hot and bothered just thinking about it!

she is such a fucking idiot- she will never learn to shut up about the men in her life. I will laugh so hard when Romo dumps her.

Well good for her! I think she did great. But why do American footballers wear so much protective gear? What whimps! In OZ, our very tough footballers wear ZERO protectiion. I’d be so embarassed to be or date an American footballer.

You’d be embarassed to be a mulit-millionaire? Yeah, ok. And you really should not speak on shit you don’t know. Google Kevin Everett and see what kind of injuries are possible in American football, even WITH the helmet and the pads. If they didn’t have them there would be multiple fatalities every season. Aussie footballers are 150 pound pansies. American football players are solid muscle and some of the best ahtletic specimens in the world. Please get it right.

I like Jessica Simpson, I think she’s pretty funny and a great performer. I do however think she has a problem with keeping her mouth shut. You would think after her marriage with Nick that she would learn to keep her private life a little more private. If she breaks up with Tony she’s going to be embarassed about how much she’s talked about him to the press. As far as I know he hasn’t mentioned her once.

Well Luella (what kind of stupid f-ing name is that firstly) Secondly, I will say it AGAIN. Your pathetic footballers have to wear all sort of protection, becasue their scared of getting hurt! Yeah real tough guys! NOT Our footballers DON”T wear any protection whatsoever becasue they ARE tough guys. Injuries are very possible in soccer and numerous other sports IDIOT. But you don’t see soccer players or any other sports wearing protective gear like your whimpy players. Not even boxers wear such hideous protective gear. AND I think that sport is a tad more dangerous than playing a game which stops and starts every second. Again for the last time WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPS

I agree why all the protective gear? I don’t see how Aussies are 150 pound pansies, when they don’t wear helmets or pads. They’re just tough guys who love a bit of biff. Imagine a game with American and Australian football or even NZ of SA? America wouldn’t play unless they had on all their gear! Who would be the pansies then?

Hey, since when did protective gear turn people into pansies? Do you want to tell that to kids wearing helmets?

Sport does not need to involve injury in order to be ‘tough’. That’s a hick view right there. Or should I say ‘bloke’ view?

And good job with the name calling. No name? Even better! Makes for a compelling argument.

Since when didn’t wearing protective gear turn men into pansies? This argument is so stupid. Aussie men are a lot tougher than American men period! Oh apart from your swimming dude with the big ears…..

Duh, they don’t HAVE to wear pads and helmets as there is no real threat of serious injury. You stupid Aussies don’t even know the first thing about our football, all you really sound like are haters which is par for the course. You hate it cause it’s different and because only we play it and we absolutely fucking love it. Who cares about Aussie rules football? I mean really. I guarantee you stack the top ten soccer (or whatever the fuck you’re yapping about) players from your country against the top ten NFLers, have them sprint, jump, lift, whatever, it’s no fucking comparison. Our American football players will annihilate yours in every possible category. They are just better athletes.

^^^^This is why they have helmets and pads. This ain’t no pussy ass slide tackling. Please. And our players don’t flop either. Yuck.

I was talking about Rugby and Rugby League!!!!!!!!!!! But a twit like you probably wouldn’t know what those games are! There’s no real threat of injury in those games Huh? F*ck me, you are as thick as pigs shit. Watch a game on youtube.

PS: They might be better athletes in your eyes, but there still whimps in my eyes for wearing so much protection. Our Rugby League games are 100% tougher than your games and they don’t wear anything apart from mouth guards! I’m not going to argue with you anymore as there isn’t any argurment.

She’s a sweet girl, but she’s too open about her private life. You’d really think she would have learnt her lesson by now.
